2. The RUGGEDCOM RPS1300 is a rugged power supply
intended to serve as the power source for our Power-
over-Ethernet (PoE) products.
Tested and certified to the NEMA TS 2 standard, the
RUGGEDCOM RPS1300 is the ideal solution to provide
PoE power for RUGGEDCOM devices in harsh
conditions such as those experienced in roadside
traffic cabinets.
The RUGGEDCOM RPS1300 can fully support four PoE
ports on the RUGGEDCOM RSG920P and
RUGGEDCOM RS900GP at 30W each or all eight PoE
ports of the RS900GP at 15W each making it ideal for
applications involving PoE devices PTZ Camers, VoIP
phones and Bluetooth or Wi-Fi sensors.

3. The RUGGEDCOM RPS1300 power supply is a built-in
unit with degree of protection IP20 and class of
protection I (with protective conductor).
It is a primary switched-mode power supply for
connection to a 1-phase AC system (TN, TT system in
accordance with VDE 0100 T 300 / IEC 364-3) with
rated voltages of - 120 / 230 V, 50/60 Hz; +54 V DC
output voltage, isolated, resistant to shortcircuits and
no-load operation.

Connecting
Before installation or maintenance work can begin, the
main system switch must be opened and measures taken to
prevent it from being reclosed. If this instruction is not
observed, touching live parts can result in death or serious
injury.
When installing the device, the relevant country-specific
regulations must be observed. Important note: A miniature
circuit breaker or motor circuit breaker must be provided on
the input side. The supply voltage (1 AC 120 / 230 V) must
be connected in accordance with IEC 60364 and EN 50178.
