1. ‘Sash’ homeless charity
logo. Whoever is reading
will be able to identify
who this poster was
produced by and
therefore what the
purpose of the poster is
now they know it has
been produced by a
charity. Having this in
the top left corner will
mean it stands out as
most people in western
culture reader from top
to bottom and from left
to right.
Using a first name to
make the poster seem
more personal and
emotional a quote
stating how safe a
homeless person feels
in the comfort of a
warm bed, proper
meal or company
around a dinner table
will be used.
The colour scheme of green will be used to keep in line with the
charity’s past work, this will make the product more memorable
and lead to less confusion.
“Preventing Youth
Homelessness Together”.
This is the charity’s slogan
and is often seen alongside
the logo on items they
produce.
Contact details, social media details and a
message asking if a person can help, knows of
someone who can help or knows of someone
who could use the help to contact the charity.
Large picture of
someone enjoying the
“safety” of a meal
indoors or a warm bed.
This large picture could
attract someone's
attention who is
walking past the poster
and they may feel
intrigued to find out
what the picture is
representing.
2. Megan LOVES a warm bed!
It’s much better than the park bench.

This font should be
used, as it looks like it
has been drawn on the
poster by the person
that is homeless.
4. Idea 3: Sticker
In the centre a large
picture to make the sticker
seem less intimidating and
not full of text. This image
could perhaps be of a
house as it is subject
relevant.
This could be the SASH logo as it
may be the first place the reader
looks. This gives the reader the
organisations name and raises
awareness of the charity.
Here on the sticker
will be the SASH
slogan “preventing
youth
homelessness
together”. This
gives the reader a
clearer
understanding on
what the charity is
for and it’s aim(s).
Contact information will be used here as it may be the last
thing read. If the sticker has been successful then the reader
will wither be inspired to seek help or offer help. This means
giving the charity’s details last is significant as it may give the
information a higher chance of being memorised by the reader.
