This document discusses several sheet metal forming processes including roll forming, drawing, peen forming, stamping, superplastic forming, and magnetic-pulse forming. Each process is suitable for different part geometries and has tradeoffs between production rates, tooling costs, and part complexity that can be formed. The document provides brief descriptions of the capabilities and limitations of each sheet metal forming technique.
