3. The remnants of Hurricane Ingrid and Tropical Storm Manuel flooded northeastern and southeastern
Mexico with uncontrollable rain causing around 34 deaths
The Mexican goverment confirmed that the country had not seen similar weather since the crisis of
1958, when Mexico was striked by two tropical storms at the same time
The most damage was caused in the southern coastal state of Guerrero
Manuel came ashore as a tropical storm on Sunday afternoon neat the Pacific port o Manzanillo, but
quickly lost strength and was downgraded to a tropical depression late Sunday. It dissipated on Monday

-Colima
-Nayarit
Late Monday, Ingrid had moved inland over northeastern Mexico and was a tropical depression with
Max. Of 45 kph sustained winds. It was centred about 15 Km. West of Ciudad Victoria of Tamaulipas
and was moving West at 7 Kph. Forecasters predict the storm Ingrid will dissipate on Tuesday
