Even in the mesmerizing technical world, India is facing several social issues like air
pollution, women security, and traffic problems such as accidents for every few seconds,
corruption by the traffic police etc. These social issues desperately require a technical aid from
2. the engineering world. So, this project is an attempt to overcome some of our social issues
through GSM, GPS and RF Technology.
Objectives:
1. To perform emission test through the pollution sensor and strictly prohibiting the vehicle
from fuel supply.
2. To provide women security in a vehicle system by tracking the vehicle using GPS and
then informing to the prescribed number.
3. To develop an efficient license authentication system using RF Technology.
4. To detect an alcoholic driver through the sensor and switching off ignition System of the
vehicle.
5. To build an automated parking system through RFID.
6. To control the speed of the vehicle using RF Technology.

Mtech Final Year Project: Analytics on Command Centre Data in Healthcare Systems:
A Case Study Implemented using Apache Hadoop, Avro and Crunch.
During situations like natural calamities and disaster there will be huge requirements for
medications, equipment’s and skilled nursing staffs. Hence, there will be need for immediate
supply of human resources in particular hospitals. There are situations where the individuals
have lost their lives due to delayed communication in the need for resources. Cerner Clairvia
has built a new management system called Command Centre to inform the hospital requirements
during emergencies. There is no real time data to test this system, so using Apache Avro the data
for schedule module is generated and using Apache Crunch the generated data is processed to
get the number of skilled persons required for hospitals in particular regions.
Objectives:
The main objective of this project is to analyze the situations in the hospital and provide
the resources according to the requirements, especially in times of natural calamities and
disasters. The Command Centre proposed by Cerner Clairvia contains schedule module, a staff
scheduling system. Using Apache Avro the data for schedule module is generated and using
Apache Crunch the generated data is processed to get the number of skilled persons required for
hospitals in particular regions.
