Faculty Affairs Administrator
• Faculty Affairs
o Process all lecturer appointments (approximately 600 actions per year) and other
teaching (approximately 30 actions per year)
o Monitor compliance with School and University policies
o Work directly with H&S department managers and/or department faculty affairs officers
to resolve problems as required
o Work with the Faculty Affairs Specialist, the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, the
Faculty Affairs Officer, and the Human Resources staff of the school on unusual
cases
o Ensure streamlined and efficient processes
o Maintain all paper files and other records for AST and OT appointments and
reappointments, including tracking spreadsheets in the HSDO and individual
appointment files
o Prepare production of individual appointment letters from the HSDO Dean to
all AST/OTT appointees
o Maintain T-Form Action Log; updating information on a daily basis to ensure
an accurate record of the status of individual appointments and
reappointments.
o Maintain information in databases for department chair/program director emoluments
o Assist in maintaining filing system
o Assist in distributing A&P files to department
o Track, file and distribute all appointment/reappointment/promotion
notifications from the Provost's Office
o Obtain Faculty Annual Reports each year, track responses from faculty and
ensure Senior Associate Dean’s access to documents on the Faculty Affairs server
• Faculty Affairs Website
o Maintains the Faculty Affairs website by updating documents or adding new
documents and information as required
o Ensures that the information on the website is accurate, up-to-date and useful to
H&S departments and programs.
o Maintains permissions for HSDO Faculty Affairs website access
