Project Goal          : Restoring degraded forests, augmenting forest resources and improv
                        livelihood for and empowering the local forest dependent communiti

 nrmc India Role       :- Assisting the PMU in pursuing effective and efficient project
                       management, formulating a comprehensive plan of operation for the
                       implementation of the Project, formulating various guidelines, manuals
                       and handbooks in consultation , establishing an efficient and
                       reliable system for monitoring and evaluation and in operating such
                       systems for progress monitoring and impact assessment, planning/
                       budgeting annually , fund management and smooth communication
                       between the PMU and the donor agency.

                       - Reviewing, analyzing and recommending improvement in existing
                       related policies and guidelines

                       -Assisting the forest department to ensure sustainability of the project.

                       -Capacity/ knowledge/ skills development through technical and
                       managerial assistance for PMU members as well as field officers who
                                   play key roles in project activities.

           financial and physical accomplishments from the field and
           disbursement of funds to the field.

                               - Provide technical assistance to the PMU and the NTFP Centre of
                      Excellence.

                                - Review, analyze and recommend improvements in existing related
                      policies and guidelines.

            conservation, livestock, right to information, micro-enterprises,
community health, aquaculture,social development, policy
advocacy and gender integration

                                   - Preparing and agreeing MoUs with Cluster Livelihood Resource
