Project Goal : Restoring degraded forests, augmenting forest resources and improv

nrmc India Role :- Assisting the PMU in pursuing effective and efficient project
management, formulating a comprehensive plan of operation for the
implementation of the Project, formulating various guidelines, manuals
and handbooks in consultation , establishing an efficient and
reliable system for monitoring and evaluation and in operating such
systems for progress monitoring and impact assessment, planning/
budgeting annually , fund management and smooth communication
between the PMU and the donor agency.
- Reviewing, analyzing and recommending improvement in existing
related policies and guidelines
-Assisting the forest department to ensure sustainability of the project.
-Capacity/ knowledge/ skills development through technical and
managerial assistance for PMU members as well as field officers who
play key roles in project activities.

Alleviation Society

Project Goal : Promoting sustainable forest management in the State with a
larger goal of supporting rural livelihoods .
nrmc India Role :- Assist the PMU in reviewing and finalizing the JFMC Management
Guideline (manual, in procurement of contractors, in annual
planning and report preparation, in fund management, in
establishing a fast, efficient and reliable system of reporting of
financial and physical accomplishments from the field and
disbursement of funds to the field.
- Provide technical assistance to the PMU and the NTFP Centre of
Excellence.
- Review, analyze and recommend improvements in existing related
policies and guidelines.
