2. WHAT IS BLACK LIVES MATTER?
An international activist movement that
campaigns against the violence and systemic
racism towards the colored population.

3. WHEN DID THIS MOVEMENT START
?
In the summer of 2013, after George,
Zimmerman's acquittal for the shooting death
of Trayvon Martin, the movement began.

4. HOW DID IT START?
In 2014 the movement spread on to the social
media under the #BLACKLIVESMATTER causing it
to gain attention nation wide.

5. SOME IMPACTS OF THE MOVEMENT
The movement brought awareness to police
brutality through the use of social media and
several non-violent protest in resistance to
brutality.

6. SOME IMPACTS OF THE MOVEMENT
The movement has gone beyond police
brutality and begin bringing attention to
problem in the black community including:
raising minimum wage and gun regulation.

7. SOME IMPACTS OF THE MOVEMENT
The movement caused a huge drop in the fate
that people had in the police and the judicial
system.

8. SOME IMPACTS OF THE MOVEMENT
The movement also hurt U.S image of a
democratic country, as well the trust in U.S
judicial and political system.
