  2. 2. Physical Activity - Moderate<br />Students were asked how much time they spend during a typical weekday doing moderate physical activities, such as walking or leisure biking. <br />The results are reported as the "number of hours per day spent doing moderate physical activity".<br />

Physical Activity - Intense<br />Students are asked how much time they spend during a typical weekday doing intense physical activity that increased their heart rate, caused them to sweat, or made them out of breath. <br />The results are reported as the "number of hours per day spent doing intense physical activity".<br />

Participate in Sports<br />The TTFM measure of Participation in Sports is based on a single question that asks students: <br /><ul><li>In the past month, how often have </li></ul>you played sports WITH a coach <br />or instructor AT SCHOOL, other <br />than in a gym class (e.g., school teams, <br />swimming lessons)?<br />*The on-line report simply indicates the percentage of students that participated at least once a week. <br />

  14. 14. Safety at School<br />Students responded to 4 Likert and 6 Yes/No questions regarding their physical safety at school.<br />The results are reported as "the average score for safety at school".<br />

Bullying<br />The TTFM measure of Bullying is based on the following questions that ask students:<br /><ul><li>In the past 4 weeks, has the same person, more </li></ul>than once pushed, punched, or scared you?<br /><ul><li>called you names, teased you, threatened you, </li></ul>or made racial comments about you? <br /><ul><li>excluded you, spread rumours about you, or tried </li></ul>to make you look bad? <br /><ul><li>used computer, email or phone text messages to tease or threaten you?</li></li></ul><li>
