Narrative Essay About My Birthday
It was a beautiful sunny Saturday morning when I woke up on March 24, 2012, and most
importantly it was my tenth birthday! I woke up to the waft of pancakes and freshly cooked
bacon coming in from the kitchen. I got out of bed, and ran downstairs. I ran so fast that I tripped
on the last step, landing on my ankle. But that did not matter because it was my birthday. I bounced
in the kitchen flinging the door open. The first faces I saw were my mom, brother, grandma, and
grandpa; mom was still in her nightgown from waking up so early to start breakfast for the special
day.
"We got a surprise for you." My grandparents said while handing me a slim tiny grey box. I glared
into the box spotting two little gold hoop earrings. The earrings were glistening from the sun
reflecting off of fresh fallen snow.
"They are 24 carat gold." My grandmother says with pride. I could not believe it; my first ever pair
of earrings, and not only were the beautiful, but they were made of gold. Real gold.
"I will never lose these as long as I live." I say not knowing what will later happen to those
precious earrings. I wore those small earrings everyday. I was committed to those earrings just like
a woman going to church in the 1960s. I wore them to school, soccer practice, bed, and in the
shower. Those earrings never came off my ears, until one day.
A couple of summers ago when I was twelve I took off the earrings because I got a new pair. That
was also the same summer that I got a new dog, and those things do not go together.
The day I took out my gunky backed earrings I did not notice that they had also stumbled on the
floor when I tried to put them in my butterfly jewelry holder. My dog, stealthy as a fox peered
around the corner noticing I had dropped something small and shiny, just perfect for her mouth size.
After I had left the room to go eat the hot dogs and mac n' cheese my mom had fixed. My dog
creeped into my room grabbing my precious earrings. As she brought them down stairs into the
living room, I realized something was wrong. She was formerly known for stealing small items like
socks, underpants, and toilet paper. So I ran into the living room seeing her two little legs poking
out of the coffee in the middle

What Is My Birthday Essay
My birthday. Not a special occasion once a year. Rather, something occurring the day following
Christmas, a much more celebrated day in almost everyone's opinion. Certainly more likely to attract
a crowd. Mother – sharing Father's enthusiastic support – claimed my birth should have been on
Christmas but the Doctor dispensed an anesthetic delaying her – and me. Both swore he went home
for his family celebration. Perhaps he did.
Families gather at Christmas to celebrate holidays and recite stories of ancestors. Dinner shared,
gifts opened, carols sung, weather willing kids throw some snowballs. But come evening when
guests return home and kids tire of counting gifts, the family rests. Everyone weary, holidays over,
complete. Then it's my birthday, precisely when everyone is exhausted of celebratory cheer.
Younger, I blamed the Doctor for relegating me to a lifetime of combined birthday and Christmas
gifts (CBCGs), at one point blaming him for the timing of my birth. I reasoned his birthday could
not be near a holiday because experiencing the consequences he never would have relegated me to a
lifetime of tired, day...show more content...
The important parts of it, to me, I spent in solitude. Learning to walk appreciably well and finishing
a rigorous training program in firearm safety at the uncompromising hands of Father, I achieved my
position in our family food chain, hunting each day after school, continuing until dark. My mission:
bring home dinner. Not always successful, we sometimes feasted on Wonder Bread sandwiches with
ketchup and a steaming bowl of Mother's track soup. For me hunting constituted no exercise in
weekend recreation, no outing in the country to escape city life, it merely augmented Father's parallel

My Birthday Experience
Growing up i learned that i needed to mature at a younger age compared to my peers. I understood
that a low–income, minority i needed to work hard to achieve my goals. One experience that
shaped my life happened this past year. My family and I were evicted from our home a couple of
days before my birthday and right before the holiday season. This made me stronger but it also
changed something inside me. I learned that life isn't a game and that i should be grateful for what i
have, because one day I could lose it all.
A couple of days before my birthday my mother asked me "Que quieres hacer para tu cumpleanos?"
I was thrilled to tell my mom what I had in mind for my birthday. Enthusiastically I answered "I
want to invite my friends over, go to the park, and then come back home for the birthday cake. I
remember inviting all my friends over for my party. I had always been invited to my friends
birthday parties but this year I was hosting my own. My mom knew my favorite football team was
the Houston Texans and she wanted the theme show. Before my birthday she ordered a huge
Houston Texans theme cake, a Texans pinata, and decorations. I knew this day was going to be
perfect, and nothing could ruin it.
On December 19th, the day before my birthday I woke up with a feeling of enthusiasm rushing
through my body. At that point, i had told myself "Wow! I've never felt this much excitement
before." I rushed out of bed and started to text my friends, they were all super pumped about

An Essay About My 21st Birthday
The Worst 21st Birthday The day that I had been waiting for all my life had finally arrived. It was
my 21st birthday, and I was so excited. I had very high expectations for the night to come, and I
was so sure nothing was going to get in the way of me having a good time. Boy, was I wrong. It
was a hot, sunny, August day. I spent all day preparing for the biggest night of my life, my 21st
birthday celebration. I made sure to get my nails done, curled my hair, and did my makeup; it
took me hours. I called my friend and my cousins to plan out where we were going to meet. My
friend was going to meet me at my house, and my cousins were going to meet us at Webster Hall in
New York City because they already lived there. My boyfriend spent that morning trying to put
together an outfit that matched my attire. In preparation for the night, I also made sure to have a
pre–party talk with my boyfriend. This was necessary because whenever we had gone out in the
past, he would always act like a grandpa. My friends, his friends, and I started calling him grandpa
because he wouldn't drink much. It ended up being no fun because while we were all drinking
and having a good time, he's just there with his one cup of patron taking one sip, and being all
serious while monitoring everyone's drinking. For my birthday night, I asked him if he could
please not be a grandpa and loosen up a little bit, so we can all have a good time together. He agreed
because he wanted me to enjoy my night as well.

Personal Narrative: My 18th Birthday Essay
"Happy Birthday", my mom screamed out and scared me the morning of June 9. But it was
surprising and nice of her since she wished me before anyone else. It was my eighteen birthday
and it was my day. While looking out the big windows in my room, I thought to myself, I will do
what satisfies me today, but wasn't quite sure what? I didn't receive any calls from my friends, or
other relatives. Nobody was home either besides my mom with whom I can't make plans because
she got her own work to do. It depressed me because it seemed like this was going to be one boring
eighteen birthday.
After half an hour of waiting for someone to call and my sister and dad to come home also thinking
about what to do. I gave up and went to take a shower. When...show more content...
I thought about checking my phone and when I did I had seven missed calls and two voicemails.
One from my boyfriend and the other my friend wishing me happy birthday. It was great to hear
from them finally. That's when I called my boyfriend to hang out. Unfortunately he said he was
busy, I was very disappointed.
It was 2:00pm, I spent almost the whole day roaming around the house doing nothing, just
thinking about everyone else. How come everyone was busy today? I assumed half of my friends
forgot it was my birthday. At 3:45pm our door bell rang. Out of curiosity I ran downstairs to
check and it was my childhood friend Trisha. While wishing me happy birthday, she gave me a
friendly hug. Then we went to my room. There she took out pictures from when we were young,
candy jewelry we played with when we were young. It was basically a reminder to me that no
matter how old any of us get, we'll always be stupid little kids at heart and will stick together. It was
a wonderful and a thoughtful gift, but that was not it. She went outside to her car to get something,
and when she returned it was another gift, a beautiful blue dress with a design coming out from the
left side and a slight cut on both sides.
Trisha stayed at my house up to 7:00pm. We talked, ate snacks, watched T.V, and had a lot of fun.
It would have been more fun if my sister and friends were here. At 7:15pm Trisha told me to change
into the dress she got me, and that we were going to go out.

IS IT ANYBODY 'S BIRTHDAY TODAY "GET UP" My little Brother was standing above me "GET

eardrums could take anymore. For my birthday breakfast my Mom made pancakes and bacon, after I

I got on I sat with one of my best friends Jordan Clout and Jack Boonk. "Hey Jake isn 't it your

He paused for a little while then asked "does anyone have a birthday today". Half the 6th graders
in the gym pointed straight at me. "Well then come right up" As I walked up I was shaking so
much I still don't know what made me so worried but there was something about going up on a
stage in front of 600 kids that intimidated me, when I got up to the table the performer he
explained to the crowd what he was going to do. The first thing he did was bring out a cup of
water then he pulled out a bottle of soap. Next thing he did was pour all of the water out in a
bucket then refilled his cup after that he pulled out something that looked like net.The net had
tiny little spaces on it for that water to flow out he put the cup and poured it out again then he
said "now how can I make this water stay in the only using the net and the soap." Nobody raised
their hands he put the soap in the cup full of water when I looked at the cup I could see the soap
sitting on top of the water I thought to myself even if he puts the net ok the cup it will either fall
off due to weight or the water will go through the holes of the net maybe both. After he put the net
on the cup he gave it to me "now I would like you to dump the cup on the ground," "Really," I said
hesitantly "yep." Slowly I tipped the cup over thinking that if I would probably have to clean it all
up when it spilled over. I closed my eyes as I fully tipped the cup over so the bottom was pointed up

My Birthday
My eighteenth birthday was probably the worst I ever came to know. I expected so much because
in some degree I was grown, in the eyes of the law. I wanted everything to be perfect and everyone
to be happy. Clarence, my boyfriend, took me out for lunch. We ended up going to a place where
his ex–girlfriend worked.
I wasn't very pleased to see her face and it was very uncomfortable for me to enjoy my meal while
I knew she was there. She treated him poorly in their relationship, and then they had something
going on while he and I were together, so I didn't like her one bit. I didn't receive any type of
presents beside my lunch (which was uncomfortable) and a dinner my mother made me. I was also
still expecting some Valentine's Day gift too since mybirthday is only four days after it. I asked for
the usual; bear, chocolate, and flowers and still had my hopes up on my birthday thinking Clarence
was going to surprise me, but I was wrong and her did no such thing. I cried more than once
because I expected so much and got so little.
It was a very emotional day for me. I was also pregnant and got to find out the gender of my child.
"It's a girl!" I hear the doctor say. That was the highlight of my day. Seventy percent of my day was
so horrible that I remember wishing I didn't care so much about my birthdays, that way I wouldn't
have been so hurt at the end.
My best birthday was when I turned nineteen. My boyfriend's taxes came in, I got a car, clothes,
shoes, and found out I was

My Best Birthday of My Life
Had you ever had the craziest birthday? Like so crazy you might even lose your head? Well, I
had a birthday like that too! This is my story about my craziest birthday and my best birthday ever.
One day, it was a peaceful morning. Everyone woke up so calm. With birds singing and the
beautiful sun awake, until when I woke up. When I woke up, it wasn't that peaceful, I was
screaming so loud saying," IT'S MY BIRTHDAYPEOPLE! YES!" I screamed as loud as a seagull
screaming. So, I got out of bed like I just don't care and danced to the bathroom and got ready to
have fun because, it's my birthday! Who doesn't like their own birthday? When I got ready, I told
my mom," Where are we going for my birthday?" My mom...show more content...
My mom wanted me to be happy so we drove to her house to see if she is still home, but she wasn't
home. So we drove back home. Before I left, because there were a lot of people, I told my friends,
Jessica and Elise also my sister, to make sure my room doesn't get into a big mess, I was really
positive that they can make sure my room is clean because they were the best. But then, when I
came home after a quick little check and walked quietly to my room, I couldn't believe my eyes!
Now a quick question, had you ever had a room so messy that even looks like a zoo? I mean like,
AN ACTUAL ZOO! Well I did just when I entered my room, so, when I was in my room with a little
dance,I got some dance moves. Back to the story, it was like, a big ZOO, like an actual ZOO! IT
WAS A MESS!
Jessica and Elise also my sister, Suri, (she is a great sister, like she is a really good sister) said, "That
the other people made a big mess and we were trying to make it clean. We even screamed stop
making a mess." Now I was screaming like crazy in my head after that mess!
I told them,"At least you guys tried, but this is still a mess!" But it was ok because it was easy for
me to clean. Then the doorbell rang, everyone was silent like a mouse. I walked to the door and
opened it. When I opened the door, I was SO SURPRISED , and it cheered me up too! It was my
friend, Virginia, (Virginia is a great friend to have) she came back to the United States after

Birthday Essay : What Happened On My Birthday?
What Happened On My Birthday?
When a personВґs birthday comes around does he/she ever wonder what happened on his/her
birthday before he/she was even thought of? Do they ever wonder about the special events that
happened on that day besides their birth? I was astonished to have found out how much had
happened on October 19. I was born on October 19, 2000. My parents are Billy and Teresa
Summerlin. I was born in Mission Hospital on a Thursday morning. It was fifty– eight degrees and it
was dark outside. My doctor was Dr. David Cobb, and he said that I was a miracle baby. I weighed
four pounds and thirteen ounces because I wasn't getting the nutrition that I needed because the
umbilical cord was wrapped around my stomach, and I couldn't breathe well. My grandmother
had a gallbladder attack the same day I was born and was also put in the hospital. My family said
that I looked like a naked squirrel when I was born. My first name, Alexis is a greek name that
means defender or helper. My last name, Summerlin is a scottish name that means mariner, viking,
or wander. On October 19, 2012 the statue ВЁBig Tex" was destroyed by fire during the State Fair
of Texas. Another thing that happened on my birthday was thatHenry Ford made his first radio
speech in 1932. One thing that interested me the most was in 1960, Martin Luther King Jr. was
arrested at an Atlanta sit–in at ВЁThe Magnolia RoomВЁ On this day, 52 protesters, including King,
were arrested for violating legislation. They

It is April 4th. It is my 21 birthday.21 years ago I was born and got named Thea. My mom Emily,
dad James, sister Maddison, and brother Liam are coming over to celebrate my birthday. There are a
few things I must do before they come.
The first thing I need to do is order a medium pizza and some wings for my family, We are big fans
of pizza and wings. My family said that they would get me a cake. I am excited to see what it looks
like. They also said that they had a big surprise for me. I am really curious about what they got me
but also nervous.
It is finally 4pm. My family should be arriving soon. I hear a knock on the door and assume it is my
family. I rush to the door and open it.
" Hi Thea how are you doing ?" says my mom while walking in
" I am doing great, just have been waiting for you guys to arrive"
My mom sets down a medium white size box.My mom looks at me and says
"You should take a look at your cake" in a very eager voice. I waked to the box where my cake was
and opened it slowly. I am amazed with design. It was a very detailed looking Kawasaki ninja
motorcycle you could see parts of the motor which made it look realistic. I was so happy with how
it looked.I turned around and my mom was still looking at me, so I said
" Thanks mom it looks really cool with all the details."
We all sat down and talked. We talked about how everyone has been. My sisters school and my
brothers new job. While we were talking there was another knock on the door. I went to go open
the door and it was the pizza and the wings. I payed for them and grabbed the boxes and walked
into the kitchen where my family was. Everyone was really hungry but my family really wanted
me to see the big surprise they got for me. SO we agreed we would go outside to see what they
got me. We went outside when I saw what they got me I almost cried in joy. My family got me the
same looking motorcycle that was on my cake. It was a black Kawasaki Ninja 2017. It had a nice
leather seat. The lights were bright white and it was really shinny. But I had one question.
"How did you guys afford to buy it ?"
" We all payed a part of it" said my brother Liam
There was only one problem. There was a part on the motorcycle where the paint was

May had just ended and it's a normal day. Wake up at early hours, get ready and go off to school.
That's how my days have been going for 9 months. I went down the stairs and my father and
step–mother were standing there, with smirks on their faces. "Happy Birthday Carson!" My
step–mother squealed. Every year it's the same deal, except this year, I'm an adult.
"Thanks." I say blandly. I grab my bag and throw it over my shoulder, ready to walk out the front
door. "Oh and Carson, I have to tell you something when you get home." I nod and walk out. After
another long day of school, I drive home and plop down my things, sitting down on the couch.

Hopeful, I open it up. My jaw drops and I run to my step–mother. I explain to her that father has

step–mother just looked at me blankly. "Go find this person who can help you and get your dad
back." I look at her before I run for the door. I hop in my silver, used car and drive to my destination.
I jump out of the car and run up to the front door. A shorter man with dark hair opens it. "Who are
you?" The man asks. I explain to him everything that has happened in the past few hours and how I
found out about him. "You're Carson? I'm Luke." The man said, "I've known you since you were
real little. Of course I can help you!" I thank him and soon after I was training. Days have passed.
Than weeks. Luke insisted I perfect my moves. Than finally, as soon as the black sky passed by, and
orange filled the sky, I was ready. Luke said a couple of words I could not make out and all of a
sudden, a swirl of green and black appeared. "What is that?" I yell. "A portal. This is the way to get
your father." He shakes his head toward the portal, telling me to go in. I give him an assured look
and jump in. All of a sudden I look up and see a long path, heading towards a castle that looks like it
came from a fairytale. I look over the land, in shock, not expecting this. Just as I'm done looking
around at this make believe world, I hear a frightening noise. I look up and see a weird looking

My Birthday
It was a beautiful Sunday morning on August 12. I woke up early on that day because it was my

have always being treated like a princess in my house but that day everyone was treating me with

there were two reasons why aunt Bella was calling us London. The first reason was my studies
and second was that my grandmother and grandfather want us to be there with them because they
wanted to live with us, which was nothing bad in it but I was not ready to leave India. When my
mom said about going to London, I was shocked and for the whole minute I said nothing and
stood there like a statue. "Complete this school year in India and next year you are going London
with us." "I am not going anywhere," I said in an angry tone. "Why not?" "Because I want to

Birthday Essay : My Favorite Day Of The Year
This was my favorite day of the year; it was a day where being a selfish child was allowed without
getting reprimanded by adults. This day is a birthday, my birthday.
Every year, I eagerly waited for this special day to occur, anticipating the delicious chocolate chip
cookie cake, the latest toys I might receive, and the looks on my family's faces as their smiles were
illuminated by my happiness. I never appreciated times like those, as much as I should have,
because one day it all changed. The date was June 3, 2010, my eighth birthday. I woke up to the
sound of my grandparents singing happy birthday to me, and at that moment, I knew. I lept out of
bed and raced out of my room. On the floor, outside the door was a note from my mom. It said,
"Hi sweetie, happy birthday! I'm sorry I cannot be here when you wake up on your special day, but
I am at the hospital having the baby. See you later! I love you. Love, Mommy."
I immediately burst into tears. Knowing that I would have to share my favorite day of the year
with a baby, who probably needed more attention than me, tampered with my eight year old mind.
I started to question if people would remember it was my birthday too, or if I would still be able to
pick my favorite restaurant to go to for dinner, or if we could have my favorite chocolate chip cookie
cake. I decided to refrain from lingering in my thoughts, and instead, got myself ready to conquer
this "terrible" day, and went downstairs. I hung out with my sister for a while, and opened a
couple of presents, which kept me content. Subsequently, my grandpa left for work, while my
grandma took my sister and I to Starbucks. I was calm and collected until my thoughts caught up
to me. I realized I will never have my own birthday again. It will always be shared, and I was not
happy. I knew, that this day would now be my least favorite day of the year.
By now, I was crying again. I kept thinking about how my birthday is truly a memorable day for
me, and I just had to have it my way, on its own, tailored to my liking. My grandma was not quite
sure how to cure my hysteria. In order to keep any sort of stress away from my parents, my grandma
decided to call my nana to help calm me down. My nana said," Darcy, if you

My First Birthday
It was my tenth birthday. I woke up that day overly excited for my age to finally be in the "double
digits." I didn't know that birthday would be one I'd never forget and turn out to be a day that
changed my life forever. I come from your regular, working class family. My parents have been
together since they were teenagers and they had two kids, myself and my younger brother, Taylor.
My parents did (and still do) everything possible to make sure my brother and I were happy. I was
also lucky enough to have my dad's mother, my grandmother, who would also do anything to make
sure we were happy. I remember being at my grandma's house as a child and watching her make us
breakfast, sitting in the poor lit kitchen, around a country–style table. I can still remember the sound
of her voice, the way her house smelled, the way she smelled and how it felt to hug her. I was
never called by my name, she only referred to me as "her baby." Which I was, there was no
question about it. My grandma had four children including my dad. Of her four children, she
ended up with seven grandchildren. My brother and I being the youngest, we were the apples of
her eye. She was a Kentucky grown woman with Kentucky blood. She smoked cigarettes the
entire time I knew her, even when she was wearing oxygen. The day of my tenth birthday, my
mom told me I could do whatever it was I wanted. I chose to go see the new Adam Sandler movie
playing at the local $1 theater in town. Afterwards, we spent the day

Essay On My Favourite Birthday Gift
It was my seventh birthday and also one of the best days of my entire life. I had just opened up
the last of my presents and was thanking my family for all the gifts they had given me for my
birthday. When I heard a bark and turned around to see my dad holding what would be my favorite
birthday present that I ever received. It was my first dog, an Irish Setter named Scarlet.
Scarlet was a very playful and stubborn puppy. She loved to run and chase anything that would
move, including her tail and the neighbor's cat. Although, a very playful and stubborn dog Scarlet
was undoubtedly a very intelligent animal as well. She was completely house trained in under a
week and learned how to play fetch in two weeks. Occasionally of course her playfulness turned our
games of fetch into games of me chasing her around the yard trying to get the tennis ball back.
It was also a great responsibility that my parents entrusted me to take care of. I had to feed her,
keep her groomed, and of course teach her the correct way to act. My dad taught me that you

Essay About My Birthday
The sky was always blue holding sunshine rays in her world. Her name was Rosaline Deponte, my
great–grandma. The continuous smile that she showed on her face reminded us how precious life is
and to not take things for granted. Cold wood floors that could easily freeze toes, single–walled
construction, shut rows of jalousie windows, and the smell of warm sweet bread on the counter 24
/7, that was Rosaline's house.
On April 28, 2015 we took our yearly Portland, Oregon trip to pick up my sister from college. The
day we departed Maui was coincidentally Rosaline's special day, her birthday. It was hard as I left
the island knowing that it was her birthday. Three days later on May 1, 2015 we were reunited
with my sister, Danae, and on a road trip between Portland and Washington. The travel of funniest
has ended. Jokes, laughs, smiles, they all came to a rapid halt. My grandmother, Rosaline's
daughter, accompanied us and suddenly received a phone call. The Maui Police Department called
and said that my great grandma Deponte had passed away a few hours prior. No emotion came from
my family and no tears left my eyes once we heard the devastating news; we were just completely
shocked! At the time, she had been staying at an old folks home called "Roselani Place" in
Kahului. Luckily, one of my family members in Maui was available and rushed down to be with
her. Ballards Family Mortuary had been at Roselani, and gently held my petite grandma until my

glad to have good friends and a good teacher in my life. My friends gave me birthday gifts, a teddy
bear, candies, and a t–shirt. I went to the classroom every day and I had felt I was alone in the
classroom, but now I felt I had a lot of friends and was so happy. Then, I thank everyone, who
remember my birthday and we celebrated with the cake cutting. After cutting my birthday cake. I cut
another cake for me and my friend graduation. In my country, I finished tenth grade. After that I
came to America, then, continued my eleventh grade and twelfth grade in American schools.
I went back home and open door and I looked everywhere in my home, but I didn 't see anybody at
home and I was called there phone, but they didn 't pick my phone call . I was so scared and I
thought my parent goes outside. If my parent go outside, they will tell me. While, they came in
front of me and wish me happy birthday. And I was so surprised, they remember my birthday and
would like give a surprise party. I was so happy. If my parent they didn 't remember my birthday, it
will make me sad. Then, my Mom was going to celebrate

Essay about My Birth Story
My Birth Story
A baby's life helps to form and shape the future for that child; this goes the same for me. My birth,
my sign, and my name, all relate to the way I live and act today. Many people may not see this
connection for themselves, but it takes a little bit of research and thinking to come to realize why
people are the way they are. Every day and every action that a child experiences can influence their
actions as an adult.
I was born on a Monday morning at 5:33. Although my mother was not in labor for long, she did
take her time getting to the hospital to give birth. I was born on April 23, 1984, the day after Easter
as a Taurus. In general, Taurus' are stubborn people and can bring harmony from chaos. Taurean

I am adjusting like any child would to their new surroundings, and getting used to daily life as a
college student. I came to NAU alone, much like I was born an only child. However, in the next
year, I know I will make friends and meet people to enjoy college life with, much like when my
brother was born, I had a new playmate and someone to grow with.
Taureans are also known to have very strong opinions and a strong voice. All through middle
school, my voice wasn't always used for academics; all my report cards said: "...She's a good
student, but has a tendency to socialize too much during class". Throughout high school, my
teachers have been able to tell when I haven't done my homework because I didn't have anything
to say about the book or the article we read. I was known to be social occasionally and a strong
voice in every debate or discussion that took part during the class. My Bioethics teacher once told
me "...Cammy, give someone else a chance, you're monopolizing the class" I was a little shocked,
but I knew she was right and shut up.
As a Taurus, I also have an inclination to make sure people are taken care of, especially in my own
home or my "territory." Although I don't host many parties, when I do haveguests, I like to be sure
that they are comfortable and have everything they need. For example, about a week ago, my
roommate and I

Personal Narrative Essay : My Birthday
The morning sunshine seeped through the cracks between my shutters, lighting up my room. I
could hear the clock ticking and the rays of sunlight bouncing off of my eyelids. I barely got any
sleep last night because I was ecstatic that tomorrow was, my birthday! I jumped up out of bed,
how could I have forgotten that it was my birthday? Suddenly all of my drowsiness turned it into
excitement and I jumped up, throwing the red gradient quilt off of my bed. I slowly walked out
of my room, making very little noise, checking to see if anyone else was awake. I peeked through
the intricate staircase railings and tried to spot anyone downstairs, no one was in sight. I tiptoed
down the cream coloured stairs, reached the bottom and got startled when my mom yelled,
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!", her voice bouncing off the walls of house. A grin so big spread across my
face, I couldn't believe I was turning four years old!
Soon after that my sister and dad awoke, it was time to celebrate! I had my favourite breakfast,
scrumptious waffles, with vibrant berries. The sweet wafts of syrup scented heat made my mouth
water. Since we were going to celebrate my birthday in the evening, me and my sister decide to
play some games to pass the time. We played Monopoly andJenga! Our Monopoly game felt like it
lasted for ages because the game could go on forever. She ended up winning, she had five hotels!
Then we played Jenga. It took us some time to build the tower because I kept knocking it over by

Narrative Essay About My Birthday
It was a beautiful day, everything was still and quiet. It was perfect. Unfortunately, perfect never last
very long. Suddenly the alarm on my watch started to make a horrible, loud beeping sound. That
meant Kayla would be here any second. But what if she wasn't there that one day, the day of my
birthday. I continued to ask myself if that horrifying day would have turned out different.
I worked as an accountant in a city office for about 6 years. But since I didn't have a car I carpooled
with my best friend Kayla. Of course, Kayla was early and had already been waiting for me.
"Happy Birthday!" said Kayla.
"Thanks," I said and she handed me a sparkly pink gift bag and a birthday card.
"Come on, you could be a little more excited," she said.
"Not when I have to go to work," I had said with a little smile.
"You're not going to open it?" she asked defensively.
"No, I'll open it when I get home," I had said.
Then she gave me this strange look and said okay. I can't really describe the look she had given
me all that well. Although her eyes seemed to appear cold and loathsome. We had been friends
since we first started working in the city office. I knew every last thing about her. That's what made
it so hard for me to believe she would do the thing that she did. However, I had felt like our
friendship seemed a little off.
Around 20 minutes later we arrived at the office.
"You're late!" Josh had said when we got to our desks.
Josh had worked in the city office when it had first

My Birthday Essay

  • 1. Narrative Essay About My Birthday It was a beautiful sunny Saturday morning when I woke up on March 24, 2012, and most importantly it was my tenth birthday! I woke up to the waft of pancakes and freshly cooked bacon coming in from the kitchen. I got out of bed, and ran downstairs. I ran so fast that I tripped on the last step, landing on my ankle. But that did not matter because it was my birthday. I bounced in the kitchen flinging the door open. The first faces I saw were my mom, brother, grandma, and grandpa; mom was still in her nightgown from waking up so early to start breakfast for the special day. "We got a surprise for you." My grandparents said while handing me a slim tiny grey box. I glared into the box spotting two little gold hoop earrings. The earrings were glistening from the sun reflecting off of fresh fallen snow. "They are 24 carat gold." My grandmother says with pride. I could not believe it; my first ever pair of earrings, and not only were the beautiful, but they were made of gold. Real gold. "I will never lose these as long as I live." I say not knowing what will later happen to those precious earrings. I wore those small earrings everyday. I was committed to those earrings just like a woman going to church in the 1960s. I wore them to school, soccer practice, bed, and in the shower. Those earrings never came off my ears, until one day. A couple of summers ago when I was twelve I took off the earrings because I got a new pair. That was also the same summer that I got a new dog, and those things do not go together. The day I took out my gunky backed earrings I did not notice that they had also stumbled on the floor when I tried to put them in my butterfly jewelry holder. My dog, stealthy as a fox peered around the corner noticing I had dropped something small and shiny, just perfect for her mouth size. After I had left the room to go eat the hot dogs and mac n' cheese my mom had fixed. My dog creeped into my room grabbing my precious earrings. As she brought them down stairs into the living room, I realized something was wrong. She was formerly known for stealing small items like socks, underpants, and toilet paper. So I ran into the living room seeing her two little legs poking out of the coffee in the middle Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. What Is My Birthday Essay My birthday. Not a special occasion once a year. Rather, something occurring the day following Christmas, a much more celebrated day in almost everyone's opinion. Certainly more likely to attract a crowd. Mother – sharing Father's enthusiastic support – claimed my birth should have been on Christmas but the Doctor dispensed an anesthetic delaying her – and me. Both swore he went home for his family celebration. Perhaps he did. Families gather at Christmas to celebrate holidays and recite stories of ancestors. Dinner shared, gifts opened, carols sung, weather willing kids throw some snowballs. But come evening when guests return home and kids tire of counting gifts, the family rests. Everyone weary, holidays over, complete. Then it's my birthday, precisely when everyone is exhausted of celebratory cheer. Younger, I blamed the Doctor for relegating me to a lifetime of combined birthday and Christmas gifts (CBCGs), at one point blaming him for the timing of my birth. I reasoned his birthday could not be near a holiday because experiencing the consequences he never would have relegated me to a lifetime of tired, day...show more content... The important parts of it, to me, I spent in solitude. Learning to walk appreciably well and finishing a rigorous training program in firearm safety at the uncompromising hands of Father, I achieved my position in our family food chain, hunting each day after school, continuing until dark. My mission: bring home dinner. Not always successful, we sometimes feasted on Wonder Bread sandwiches with ketchup and a steaming bowl of Mother's track soup. For me hunting constituted no exercise in weekend recreation, no outing in the country to escape city life, it merely augmented Father's parallel Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. My Birthday Experience Growing up i learned that i needed to mature at a younger age compared to my peers. I understood that a low–income, minority i needed to work hard to achieve my goals. One experience that shaped my life happened this past year. My family and I were evicted from our home a couple of days before my birthday and right before the holiday season. This made me stronger but it also changed something inside me. I learned that life isn't a game and that i should be grateful for what i have, because one day I could lose it all. A couple of days before my birthday my mother asked me "Que quieres hacer para tu cumpleanos?" I was thrilled to tell my mom what I had in mind for my birthday. Enthusiastically I answered "I want to invite my friends over, go to the park, and then come back home for the birthday cake. I remember inviting all my friends over for my party. I had always been invited to my friends birthday parties but this year I was hosting my own. My mom knew my favorite football team was the Houston Texans and she wanted the theme show. Before my birthday she ordered a huge Houston Texans theme cake, a Texans pinata, and decorations. I knew this day was going to be perfect, and nothing could ruin it. On December 19th, the day before my birthday I woke up with a feeling of enthusiasm rushing through my body. At that point, i had told myself "Wow! I've never felt this much excitement before." I rushed out of bed and started to text my friends, they were all super pumped about Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. An Essay About My 21st Birthday The Worst 21st Birthday The day that I had been waiting for all my life had finally arrived. It was my 21st birthday, and I was so excited. I had very high expectations for the night to come, and I was so sure nothing was going to get in the way of me having a good time. Boy, was I wrong. It was a hot, sunny, August day. I spent all day preparing for the biggest night of my life, my 21st birthday celebration. I made sure to get my nails done, curled my hair, and did my makeup; it took me hours. I called my friend and my cousins to plan out where we were going to meet. My friend was going to meet me at my house, and my cousins were going to meet us at Webster Hall in New York City because they already lived there. My boyfriend spent that morning trying to put together an outfit that matched my attire. In preparation for the night, I also made sure to have a pre–party talk with my boyfriend. This was necessary because whenever we had gone out in the past, he would always act like a grandpa. My friends, his friends, and I started calling him grandpa because he wouldn't drink much. It ended up being no fun because while we were all drinking and having a good time, he's just there with his one cup of patron taking one sip, and being all serious while monitoring everyone's drinking. For my birthday night, I asked him if he could please not be a grandpa and loosen up a little bit, so we can all have a good time together. He agreed because he wanted me to enjoy my night as well. • 5. Personal Narrative: My 18th Birthday Essay "Happy Birthday", my mom screamed out and scared me the morning of June 9. But it was surprising and nice of her since she wished me before anyone else. It was my eighteen birthday and it was my day. While looking out the big windows in my room, I thought to myself, I will do what satisfies me today, but wasn't quite sure what? I didn't receive any calls from my friends, or other relatives. Nobody was home either besides my mom with whom I can't make plans because she got her own work to do. It depressed me because it seemed like this was going to be one boring eighteen birthday. After half an hour of waiting for someone to call and my sister and dad to come home also thinking about what to do. I gave up and went to take a shower. When...show more content... I thought about checking my phone and when I did I had seven missed calls and two voicemails. One from my boyfriend and the other my friend wishing me happy birthday. It was great to hear from them finally. That's when I called my boyfriend to hang out. Unfortunately he said he was busy, I was very disappointed. It was 2:00pm, I spent almost the whole day roaming around the house doing nothing, just thinking about everyone else. How come everyone was busy today? I assumed half of my friends forgot it was my birthday. At 3:45pm our door bell rang. Out of curiosity I ran downstairs to check and it was my childhood friend Trisha. While wishing me happy birthday, she gave me a friendly hug. Then we went to my room. There she took out pictures from when we were young, candy jewelry we played with when we were young. It was basically a reminder to me that no matter how old any of us get, we'll always be stupid little kids at heart and will stick together. It was a wonderful and a thoughtful gift, but that was not it. She went outside to her car to get something, and when she returned it was another gift, a beautiful blue dress with a design coming out from the left side and a slight cut on both sides. Trisha stayed at my house up to 7:00pm. We talked, ate snacks, watched T.V, and had a lot of fun. It would have been more fun if my sister and friends were here. At 7:15pm Trisha told me to change into the dress she got me, and that we were going to go out. Get more content on HelpWriting.net

I got out of bed because I did not think my eardrums could take anymore. For my birthday breakfast my Mom made pancakes and bacon, after I ate I got ready for school. Once I was done getting ready I walked to the bus stop the bus arrived and I got on I sat with one of my best friends Jordan Clout and Jack Boonk. "Hey Jake isn 't it your birthday" Jordan asked "yeah it is, but don 't anyone". I don 't like it when people sing happy birthday to me or even telling me happy birthday. He paused for a little while then asked "does anyone have a birthday today". Half the 6th graders in the gym pointed straight at me. "Well then come right up" As I walked up I was shaking so much I still don't know what made me so worried but there was something about going up on a stage in front of 600 kids that intimidated me, when I got up to the table the performer he explained to the crowd what he was going to do. The first thing he did was bring out a cup of water then he pulled out a bottle of soap. Next thing he did was pour all of the water out in a bucket then refilled his cup after that he pulled out something that looked like net.The net had tiny little spaces on it for that water to flow out he put the cup and poured it out again then he said "now how can I make this water stay in the only using the net and the soap." Nobody raised their hands he put the soap in the cup full of water when I looked at the cup I could see the soap sitting on top of the water I thought to myself even if he puts the net ok the cup it will either fall off due to weight or the water will go through the holes of the net maybe both. After he put the net on the cup he gave it to me "now I would like you to dump the cup on the ground," "Really," I said hesitantly "yep." Slowly I tipped the cup over thinking that if I would probably have to clean it all up when it spilled over. I closed my eyes as I fully tipped the cup over so the bottom was pointed up Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. My Birthday My eighteenth birthday was probably the worst I ever came to know. I expected so much because in some degree I was grown, in the eyes of the law. I wanted everything to be perfect and everyone to be happy. Clarence, my boyfriend, took me out for lunch. We ended up going to a place where his ex–girlfriend worked. I wasn't very pleased to see her face and it was very uncomfortable for me to enjoy my meal while I knew she was there. She treated him poorly in their relationship, and then they had something going on while he and I were together, so I didn't like her one bit. I didn't receive any type of presents beside my lunch (which was uncomfortable) and a dinner my mother made me. I was also still expecting some Valentine's Day gift too since mybirthday is only four days after it. I asked for the usual; bear, chocolate, and flowers and still had my hopes up on my birthday thinking Clarence was going to surprise me, but I was wrong and her did no such thing. I cried more than once because I expected so much and got so little. It was a very emotional day for me. I was also pregnant and got to find out the gender of my child. "It's a girl!" I hear the doctor say. That was the highlight of my day. Seventy percent of my day was so horrible that I remember wishing I didn't care so much about my birthdays, that way I wouldn't have been so hurt at the end. My best birthday was when I turned nineteen. My boyfriend's taxes came in, I got a car, clothes, shoes, and found out I was Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. My Best Birthday of My Life Had you ever had the craziest birthday? Like so crazy you might even lose your head? Well, I had a birthday like that too! This is my story about my craziest birthday and my best birthday ever. One day, it was a peaceful morning. Everyone woke up so calm. With birds singing and the beautiful sun awake, until when I woke up. When I woke up, it wasn't that peaceful, I was screaming so loud saying," IT'S MY BIRTHDAYPEOPLE! YES!" I screamed as loud as a seagull screaming. So, I got out of bed like I just don't care and danced to the bathroom and got ready to have fun because, it's my birthday! Who doesn't like their own birthday? When I got ready, I told my mom," Where are we going for my birthday?" My mom...show more content... My mom wanted me to be happy so we drove to her house to see if she is still home, but she wasn't home. So we drove back home. Before I left, because there were a lot of people, I told my friends, Jessica and Elise also my sister, to make sure my room doesn't get into a big mess, I was really positive that they can make sure my room is clean because they were the best. But then, when I came home after a quick little check and walked quietly to my room, I couldn't believe my eyes! Now a quick question, had you ever had a room so messy that even looks like a zoo? I mean like, AN ACTUAL ZOO! Well I did just when I entered my room, so, when I was in my room with a little dance,I got some dance moves. Back to the story, it was like, a big ZOO, like an actual ZOO! IT WAS A MESS! Jessica and Elise also my sister, Suri, (she is a great sister, like she is a really good sister) said, "That the other people made a big mess and we were trying to make it clean. We even screamed stop making a mess." Now I was screaming like crazy in my head after that mess! I told them,"At least you guys tried, but this is still a mess!" When a personВґs birthday comes around does he/she ever wonder what happened on his/her birthday before he/she was even thought of? Do they ever wonder about the special events that happened on that day besides their birth? I was astonished to have found out how much had happened on October 19. I was born on October 19, 2000. My parents are Billy and Teresa Summerlin. I was born in Mission Hospital on a Thursday morning. It was fifty– eight degrees and it was dark outside. My grandmother had a gallbladder attack the same day I was born and was also put in the hospital. My family said that I looked like a naked squirrel when I was born. My first name, Alexis is a greek name that means defender or helper. My last name, Summerlin is a scottish name that means mariner, viking, or wander. • 11. My 18th Birthday Essay May had just ended and it's a normal day. Wake up at early hours, get ready and go off to school. That's how my days have been going for 9 months. I went down the stairs and my father and step–mother were standing there, with smirks on their faces. "Happy Birthday Carson!" My step–mother squealed. Every year it's the same deal, except this year, I'm an adult. "Thanks." I say blandly. I grab my bag and throw it over my shoulder, ready to walk out the front door. "Oh and Carson, I have to tell you something when you get home." I nod and walk out. After another long day of school, I drive home and plop down my things, sitting down on the couch. "Carson, there is something I need to tell you come in my office." He inhales, "This may sound ...show more content... Hopeful, I open it up. My jaw drops and I run to my step–mother. I explain to her that father has been kidnapped. And I am the only one who can save him, but I need training from someone. My step–mother just looked at me blankly. "Go find this person who can help you and get your dad back." I look at her before I run for the door. I hop in my silver, used car and drive to my destination. I jump out of the car and run up to the front door. A shorter man with dark hair opens it. "Who are you?" The man asks. I explain to him everything that has happened in the past few hours and how I found out about him. "You're Carson? I'm Luke." The man said, "I've known you since you were real little. Of course I can help you!" I thank him and soon after I was training. Days have passed. Than weeks. Luke insisted I perfect my moves. Than finally, as soon as the black sky passed by, and orange filled the sky, I was ready. Luke said a couple of words I could not make out and all of a sudden, a swirl of green and black appeared. "What is that?" I yell. "A portal. This is the way to get your father." He shakes his head toward the portal, telling me to go in. I give him an assured look and jump in. All of a sudden I look up and see a long path, heading towards a castle that looks like it came from a fairytale. I look over the land, in shock, not expecting this. Just as I'm done looking around at this make believe world, I hear a frightening noise. I look up and see a weird looking Get more content on HelpWriting.net

I have always being treated like a princess in my house but that day everyone was treating me with more respects and love. I got so many calls and gifts from my friends and relatives in the morning. My day was going great so far until I received a call at around eight in the morning. I saw the number and I knew it was my aunt Bella calling from London, United Kingdom. My dad's side family is in London and there were two reasons why aunt Bella was calling us London. The first reason was my studies and second was that my grandmother and grandfather want us to be there with them because they wanted to live with us, which was nothing bad in it but I was not ready to leave India. When my mom said about going to London, I was shocked and for the whole minute I said nothing and stood there like a statue. "Complete this school year in India and next year you are going London with us." "I am not going anywhere," I said in an angry tone. "Why not?" "Because I want to complete my high school in India. I will go there for my college." "You can do your high school in London too." "No, I am not going to London and that 's my final decision." My mom wanted me to go to London anyhow. She was very stubborn and so do I. My mom decided to not say anything to me on that day because she didn 't want to ruin my day because it was my birthday. So, she kept quiet for the rest of the day. • 13. Birthday Essay : My Favorite Day Of The Year This was my favorite day of the year; it was a day where being a selfish child was allowed without getting reprimanded by adults. This day is a birthday, my birthday. Every year, I eagerly waited for this special day to occur, anticipating the delicious chocolate chip cookie cake, the latest toys I might receive, and the looks on my family's faces as their smiles were illuminated by my happiness. I never appreciated times like those, as much as I should have, because one day it all changed. The date was June 3, 2010, my eighth birthday. I woke up to the sound of my grandparents singing happy birthday to me, and at that moment, I knew. I lept out of bed and raced out of my room. On the floor, outside the door was a note from my mom. It said, "Hi sweetie, happy birthday! I'm sorry I cannot be here when you wake up on your special day, but I am at the hospital having the baby. See you later! I love you. Love, Mommy." I immediately burst into tears. Knowing that I would have to share my favorite day of the year with a baby, who probably needed more attention than me, tampered with my eight year old mind. I started to question if people would remember it was my birthday too, or if I would still be able to pick my favorite restaurant to go to for dinner, or if we could have my favorite chocolate chip cookie cake. I decided to refrain from lingering in my thoughts, and instead, got myself ready to conquer this "terrible" day, and went downstairs. I hung out with my sister for a while, and opened a couple of presents, which kept me content. Subsequently, my grandpa left for work, while my grandma took my sister and I to Starbucks. I was calm and collected until my thoughts caught up to me. I realized I will never have my own birthday again. It will always be shared, and I was not happy. I knew, that this day would now be my least favorite day of the year. By now, I was crying again. I kept thinking about how my birthday is truly a memorable day for me, and I just had to have it my way, on its own, tailored to my liking. My grandma was not quite sure how to cure my hysteria. In order to keep any sort of stress away from my parents, my grandma decided to call my nana to help calm me down. My nana said," Darcy, if you Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. My First Birthday It was my tenth birthday. I woke up that day overly excited for my age to finally be in the "double digits." I didn't know that birthday would be one I'd never forget and turn out to be a day that changed my life forever. I come from your regular, working class family. My parents have been together since they were teenagers and they had two kids, myself and my younger brother, Taylor. My parents did (and still do) everything possible to make sure my brother and I were happy. I was also lucky enough to have my dad's mother, my grandmother, who would also do anything to make sure we were happy. I remember being at my grandma's house as a child and watching her make us breakfast, sitting in the poor lit kitchen, around a country–style table. I can still remember the sound of her voice, the way her house smelled, the way she smelled and how it felt to hug her. I was never called by my name, she only referred to me as "her baby." Which I was, there was no question about it. My grandma had four children including my dad. Of her four children, she ended up with seven grandchildren. My brother and I being the youngest, we were the apples of her eye. She was a Kentucky grown woman with Kentucky blood. She smoked cigarettes the entire time I knew her, even when she was wearing oxygen. The day of my tenth birthday, my mom told me I could do whatever it was I wanted. I chose to go see the new Adam Sandler movie playing at the local $1 theater in town. Afterwards, we spent the day Get more content on HelpWriting.net

I had just opened up the last of my presents and was thanking my family for all the gifts they had given me for my birthday. When I heard a bark and turned around to see my dad holding what would be my favorite birthday present that I ever received. It was my first dog, an Irish Setter named Scarlet. Scarlet was a very playful and stubborn puppy. She loved to run and chase anything that would move, including her tail and the neighbor's cat. Although, a very playful and stubborn dog Scarlet was undoubtedly a very intelligent animal as well. She was completely house trained in under a week and learned how to play fetch in two weeks. Occasionally of course her playfulness turned our games of fetch into games of me chasing her around the yard trying to get the tennis ball back. It was also a great responsibility that my parents entrusted me to take care of. I had to feed her, keep her groomed, and of course teach her the correct way to act. • 16. Essay About My Birthday The sky was always blue holding sunshine rays in her world. Her name was Rosaline Deponte, my great–grandma. The continuous smile that she showed on her face reminded us how precious life is and to not take things for granted. Cold wood floors that could easily freeze toes, single–walled construction, shut rows of jalousie windows, and the smell of warm sweet bread on the counter 24 /7, that was Rosaline's house. On April 28, 2015 we took our yearly Portland, Oregon trip to pick up my sister from college. The day we departed Maui was coincidentally Rosaline's special day, her birthday. It was hard as I left the island knowing that it was her birthday. Three days later on May 1, 2015 we were reunited with my sister, Danae, and on a road trip between Portland and Washington. The travel of funniest has ended. Jokes, laughs, smiles, they all came to a rapid halt. My grandmother, Rosaline's daughter, accompanied us and suddenly received a phone call. The Maui Police Department called and said that my great grandma Deponte had passed away a few hours prior. No emotion came from my family and no tears left my eyes once we heard the devastating news; we were just completely shocked! At the time, she had been staying at an old folks home called "Roselani Place" in Kahului. Luckily, one of my family members in Maui was available and rushed down to be with her. Ballards Family Mortuary had been at Roselani, and gently held my petite grandma until my aunty Lesli Otani arrived. Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 18. Essay about My Birth Story My Birth Story A baby's life helps to form and shape the future for that child; this goes the same for me. My birth, my sign, and my name, all relate to the way I live and act today. Many people may not see this connection for themselves, but it takes a little bit of research and thinking to come to realize why people are the way they are. Every day and every action that a child experiences can influence their actions as an adult. I was born on a Monday morning at 5:33. Although my mother was not in labor for long, she did take her time getting to the hospital to give birth. I was born on April 23, 1984, the day after Easter as a Taurus. Taureans are also known to have very strong opinions and a strong voice. All through middle school, my voice wasn't always used for academics; all my report cards said: "...She's a good student, but has a tendency to socialize too much during class". Throughout high school, my teachers have been able to tell when I haven't done my homework because I didn't have anything to say about the book or the article we read. I was known to be social occasionally and a strong voice in every debate or discussion that took part during the class. My Bioethics teacher once told me "...Cammy, give someone else a chance, you're monopolizing the class" I was a little shocked, but I knew she was right and shut up. As a Taurus, I also have an inclination to make sure people are taken care of, especially in my own home or my "territory." • 19. Personal Narrative Essay : My Birthday The morning sunshine seeped through the cracks between my shutters, lighting up my room. I could hear the clock ticking and the rays of sunlight bouncing off of my eyelids. I barely got any sleep last night because I was ecstatic that tomorrow was, my birthday! I jumped up out of bed, how could I have forgotten that it was my birthday? Suddenly all of my drowsiness turned it into excitement and I jumped up, throwing the red gradient quilt off of my bed. I slowly walked out of my room, making very little noise, checking to see if anyone else was awake. I peeked through the intricate staircase railings and tried to spot anyone downstairs, no one was in sight. I tiptoed down the cream coloured stairs, reached the bottom and got startled when my mom yelled, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!", her voice bouncing off the walls of house. A grin so big spread across my face, I couldn't believe I was turning four years old! Soon after that my sister and dad awoke, it was time to celebrate! I had my favourite breakfast, scrumptious waffles, with vibrant berries. The sweet wafts of syrup scented heat made my mouth water. • 20. Narrative Essay About My Birthday It was a beautiful day, everything was still and quiet. It was perfect. Unfortunately, perfect never last very long. Suddenly the alarm on my watch started to make a horrible, loud beeping sound. That meant Kayla would be here any second. But what if she wasn't there that one day, the day of my birthday. I continued to ask myself if that horrifying day would have turned out different. I worked as an accountant in a city office for about 6 years. But since I didn't have a car I carpooled with my best friend Kayla. I can't really describe the look she had given me all that well. Although her eyes seemed to appear cold and loathsome. We had been friends since we first started working in the city office. I knew every last thing about her. That's what made it so hard for me to believe she would do the thing that she did. However, I had felt like our friendship seemed a little off. Around 20 minutes later we arrived at the office. "You're late!" Josh had said when we got to our desks.
