1. Risk Assessment
As Director I am responsible for the majority of these risks, however it is importantto remember that general health
and safety rulesand ‘”common sence” should be obeyed at all times.
Risk Identified Shooting Location Responsibility Strategy to Overcome Prevention
Illness / injury All Me/ Actor
In the case of the actor being ill, I
will ensurea substitute is in place a
few daysbeforehand. In case of
myself being ill, the risk cannot be
overcome and imminentreschedule
will need to take place.
Actor Inconvenience/Clashes All Me / Actor
Sometimes there may be
unexpected circumstancesin which
the actor or myself is unable to
make a shoot sue to clashes with
other events, and as such regular
face-to-face contact will be
maintained to ensurethat the
project runssmoothly. The actor
has been chose based on their
reliability and they are unlikely to
let medown.
2. Weather Outdoors N/A
I will check the weather forecast
beforehand and ensurethat it is
appropriatefor the relevantscene.
If it is not, rescheduling willneed to
take place as early as possible and
thus the forecast will check at
regular intervals leading up to the
shoots. Weather such as heavy rain
and wind willbe inappropriatein
all circumstances as it will be
inconvenientand may damage
equipment.
