DUTIES
WILL
INCLUDE:
• Assist
the
Board
of
Directors
and
the
President
in
the
fulfillment
of
their
duties.
• Manage
financial
reconciliation
and
bill
pay
using
QuickBooks.
• Schedule
radio
interviews,
appearances,
presentations,
special
events,
and
travel.
• Process
reimbursements
for
travel
and
other
expenses.
• Process
volunteer
applications
and
presentation
requests.
• Assist
the
President
in
event
planning
and
management.
• Manage
the
day-­‐to-­‐day
operations
including
the
purchase
of
office
supplies
and
equipment.
• Oversee
website
content,
management,
and
maintenance
using
the
Nation
Builder
platform.
• Assist
the
Board
of
Directors
and
the
President
with
hiring
new
staff
members
and
assist
in
the
training
of
new
staff.
• Assist
in
the
production
of
educational
materials
at
the
direction
of
the
Board
of
Directors
and
the
President.
• Manage
database
of
contacts
and
donors.
• Maintain
records
of
policies
and
Procedures
and
oversee
adherence
to
such
policies
and
procedures.

REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong
ability
to
work
independently
with
little
oversight
• Proficient
with
Microsoft
Office
Suite
(Word,
Excel,
and
PowerPoint)
• Familiar
with
QuickBooks
and
basic
accounting
practices
• Honest,
Respectful,
and
Trustworthy
• Strong
ability
to
critically
think
and
use
good
judgment
• Able
to
coordinate
efforts
with
other
staff
members
and
the
Board
of
Directors
• Ability
to
communicate
effectively
on
the
phone,
in
writing,
and
via
email
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS
• Familiar
with
Public
Lands
Issues
or
willing
to
learn
• Bachelor’s
degree
in
a
related
field
• Experience
managing
and
monitoring
multiple
social
media
accounts
• Experience
with
audio/visual
editing
programs
• Basic
graphic
design
skills
with
the
ability
to
create
fliers,
memes,
handouts,
etc.
• Familiar
with
Mac
computers,
or
willing
to
learn
• Experience
training
and
overseeing
employees
