Jessica Nicole Hische is an American lettering artist, illustrator, author and type designer. She was influential in the revival of hand lettering and has published books on her creative process. Jean Jullien is a French graphic designer known for his symbolic artwork responding to terrorist attacks in Paris. Llew Mejia is a stylistic illustrator skilled in hand-drawn and digital illustration who has worked for many major brands.

was one of the first of a new generation of
letterers and the present-day flourishing of the
lettering arts can in part be traced back to her
emergence.
She published In Progress: See Inside a Lettering
Artist's Sketchbook and Process, from Pencil to
Vector in September 2015, which gives insight to
her creative process and work she has completed
as a hand-lettering artist. She has written and
illustrated two New York Times best-selling
children's books: Tomorrow I'll be Brave (2018)
and Tomorrow I'll be Kind (2019). She has spoken
at over 100 conferences worldwide.
8. Jean Jullien (born 14 March 1983) - is a French graphic designer and illustrator.

In the wake of the November 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris, Jullien created a
variation of a classic peace symbolinvoking the Eiffel Tower. The image swiftly
went viral through social media and news coverage of worldwide sympathies
and affirmations of solidarity against terrorism. He also published a drawing in
solidarity after the Charlie Hebdo shootings in January 2015.
The French embassy in Berlin used his symbol in an exterior lighting installation,
accompanied by the slogan #NousSommesUnis (we are united).

10. Llew Mejia - is a stylistic illustrator skilled in hand-drawn
illustration, pattern/print,packaging, branding, and computer
generated illustration.
In his younger years, his family traveled back and forth between
Mexico and the Southwestern United States. As a result he is
bilingual and has a unique perspective on American as well as
Mexican culture.
Llew enjoys working on patterns for print, lettering, painting,
buying folk art, watering his plants, and perusing through old
occult books.
