After the Second World War, Many world organizations were formed and some of the European nations also thought the need of integrity among themselves. On this line of thought, on dated 9th May, 1950, Foreign minister of France proposed an action plan to bring in unity among the nations and his efforts combine and support by others, European coal and steel community was formed in the year 1951. This community was joined by six nations named as Belgium, France, Luxemburg, West Germany, Netherlands and Italy.
