Micromax's Yu Yuphoria is the successor to the Yureka smartphone. Key details about the Yuphoria include that it will have a 5-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass, be powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, run Android 5.0 Lollipop with Cyanogen OS 12, have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, and include an 8 megapixel rear camera. The Yuphoria is Micromax's second smartphone in India to run the Cyanogen operating system.

Micromax is an Indian consumer
electronics company headquartered
in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.[1] Micromax started
as an ITsoftware company in 2000 and worked on
embedded platforms. It entered the mobile
handset business, and became one of the largest
Indian domestic mobile handsets company
operating in low cost feature phone segments by
2010.[2] As of Q3 2014, Micromax is the tenth
largest Smartphone vendor in the world.[3]
3. Entry of the Play God
In November 2014, Micromax partnered
with Cyanogen Inc. to provide Cyanogen-based
smartphones in India, under the brand
name YU. The first mobile under the brand YU is
Yureka, which is a 4G device and running on the
Cyanogen OS 11, modified version of Android
KitKat 4.4.4. YU Yureka has created a record time
for Lightning Sales, 15000 Units sold within 3
seconds. Most of the flash sales of YU Yureka is
finished within first 3–4 seconds.
4. Sucessor Of Yureka
Micromax's Yu, which entered the smartphone
market with the launch of Yureka smartphone in
December last year, is now all set to launch the
second Cyanogen-based smartphone in India
today.
Named "Yuphoria", it will be the successor to the
Yureka, the company's first Cyanogen-based
phone.
It was early this month when Yu confirmed the
name of its yet-to-be-announced phone after
running a contest that had asked people to
suggest the name for its next phone.
