This special ident for the voice is intended to be shown at a certain time of the day,
this is particularly in the evening. By showing the ident in the evening more people
would be able to view the ident because they would be home from work and
school, this will then inform people that the show is back and on the night of the
show the ident would be shown just before the show is about to come on to remind
the viewers/audience. This ident is also shown at certain time of the year, this is
because The Voice only comes on once a year, and the channel would use the
special idents as an advertisement for their show to inform the viewers that The
Voice would be coming soon to the channel. The closer it comes to the date of the
channel the more the ident would be shown. This idents conveys a message to the
audience, from the ident thy can get the message that The Voice is going back
funnier, bigger and better and the audience should be expecting more form the
contestants this year. The ident also conveys a message about the BBC One
channel aswell, the message it gives to the audience is that the channel is still
remaining to their mission statement but are advancing year by year, within this
ident the voice over informs the audience they can go online and play along with
the show whilst watching it.

2. Aliyah Ryan
This is BBC Ones Glitter Ball Ident for the Tv program Strictly Come Dancing, this is
how is about ball room dancing. As you can see from the visuals the theme of the
ident goes perfectly wit the show as the glitter balls reflect the show and the ball
room. The target audience of this show is 18-40 year olds, the ident would appeal to
them because it shows the glitz and glamour of the shows and the ball room life
style; the ident also play’s a type of salsa music in the back ground getting people
ready and in the mood for the show to start. This ident is shown mostly in the evening
as people would be home from school, college and work, the main reason they
would show the idents in the evening is because BBC One is a family orientated
channel. The ident is shown at a pitucuar time of they year as the series comes on
every year, the BBC One channel also make these special idents if the Strictly Come
Dancing were performing live or on a special stage. The message this ident is
informing the audience about the channel is that they are still the same and they
are astaying true to their remits as they are keeping their idents creative and to
enrich people’s lives with programmes and services tat inform, educate and
entertain.

this is particularly in the evening. By showing the ident in the evening more people
would be able to view the ident because they would be home from work and
school, this will then inform people that the show is back and on the night of the
show the ident would be shown just before the show is about to come on to remind
the viewers/audience. This ident may be shown throughout the year especially on a
Saturday is it shows characters from the TV show Doctor Who, who’s shows come on
a Saturday evening’s. This ident may be particularly aimed at teenagers and families
as it is showing family as Doctor who is a family based sci-fi show. This ident conveys
a particular message informing the audience that the show is back and they should
be expecting as there iconic Darlic character is shown in the ident, this causes the
audience to be excited as they can’t wait to see what will he happening in the next
episode.

Each of these three idents is different but has the same key theme throughout. The
use of the circle consistently in each of the BBC’s idents reminds the audience what
they are watching and what the BBC’s channel is all about.
