1 Someone comes to you and wants you to
design something for them.These are the
people you are designing for.
2 Something the client needs you to solve
with the product. The reason the client
commissioned you.
3 A short description of what the client needs
happening. Initial statement defines what's
being made.
4 Looking at existing products, understanding
what your target audience likes ect.
5 Identifying the preciserequirements for the
outcome. List of things you need to design
for
6 A range of divergent initial ideas that all
follow roughly the same theme branching
from your research
7 Assessing how successful your ideas are at
solving the problem against the criteria of
the brief
8 Taking what you have learnt from the
evaluation stage and bringing together
aspects from all your ideas into a more
superior design.
