AT THE REGIONAL LEVEL (ACTO)
• Increased understanding of ACTO’s institutional role as coordinator of regional
transboundary water resources management in the Amazon basin
• Increased technical and financial autonomy (UTA), new headquarters of
PS/ACTO
• Strengthened ability to provide capacity building activities (training courses)
• Strengthened regional political and technical dialogue on IWRM and climate
change adaptation (3 regional Ministerial meetings, 2 regional WS).
AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL
• Improved national inter-sectorial coordination for IWRM (4 IMC)
• Improvement of national institutional and legal frameworks, 8 nat. inventories
ACROSS THE BORDER
• Improved local governance for CC adaptation (early warning system / MAP
region)
