2. E-COP – Project no. 167127-LLP-1-2009-1-IT-KA1-KA1ECETB
Short Description:
Jax International football club submitted during the spring of 2010
a proposal on how a football school could develop integration of
newly arrived refugees to the Swedish society while they also
wanted to make an effort to raise the quality and performance of the
young people in school.
The promoters also felt that it was important that young people had
a clear and positive social information which led to continuous
information meetings with police, emergency services and other
social services during the project. Some immigrant children and
adolescents are limited to the home environment and therefore
have limited opportunity to participate in recreational activities of
that kind, which meant the project. This is especially true for girls,
and therefore priority for this group in this project.
