This document describes two tour packages in Mongolia - the Central Mongolian Tour and the Great Mongol Empire Tour. The Central Mongolian Tour is a 9-day/8-night tour visiting places like Elsen Tasarkhai, Orkhon Waterfall, Tsenkher Hot Spa, Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake, Khorgo Mountain, Kharakhorum, and Khustai National Park. The tour includes activities such as camel riding, horse riding, and trekking. The Great Mongol Empire Tour is a shorter 7-day/6-night tour visiting Elsen Tasarkhai, Kharakhorum, Tuvkhun Temple

Tour information
During the trip, you will be travelling for 4-8 hours from one to another destination. Every
couple of hours, we will have short break for photographs, toilets, stretching etc,,, . On the
tour we serve you by 4WD vehicles, mostly Russian and Japanese vehicles. The minivan has
capacity of maximum 6 people with luggage and the Japanese jeep has maximum of 3 people
with luggage. We always make sure all our vehicles are inspected and well prepared before
departure.
Overnight mostly we stay at tourist camp and they provide the guest’s accommodation as a
ger which is very comfortable and cozy to stay there. Tourist ger camp is able to provide you
all the modern facilities including restaurant/bar ,hot shower, western style toilet,etc.,,,
You will be served mostly delicious western style and Mongolian traditional food.

4. ElsenTasarkhai
ElsenTasarkhai is small sand dunes, 80 km long, continuously lies in the lowland of legendary
KhugnuKhaan and Bat Khaan mountains. Sand dunes represents landscape, climate & ecology
of Gobi desert, in this region.
Orkhon waterfall( Ulaan tsutgalan)
Orkhon waterfall ( Ulaan tsutgalan) , is over 25 m high Ulaantsutgalan is the biggest waterfall in
Mongolia and one of the most attractive destination in Orkhon river valley, UNISCO World heritage site
The waterfall is located on the Orkhon River in Bat-Ulzii, Uvurkhangai province. Its width is about 10 m.
The surrounding areas of the waterfall was formed by volcanic activities dated back approximately
20,000 years . When a smaller river named Ulaan (meaning Red) flows into Orkhon river the water
drops over the edge with height over 25 and makes the waterfall. That is why, locals called it Ulaan
tsutgalan which meaning Red's Flows.

5. Tsenkher Hot Spa
Tsenkher Hot Spa is a natural hot spring flows out whole year from the ground at 85 Celsius
degree, country's second hottest, in mountainous Central Mongolia. It is located 28 km south
of Tsetserleg town in Arkhangai province and 22 km south west Tsenkher village. The spring
comes out from far deep part of the ground and its water is not mixed with soil waters because
it is hot. Also the spring is kept in high pressure under the ground flow rate is high, 10 liters per
seconds. The water has high mineral content and containing everything from simple calcium,
sodium to sulphuric. Folklore claimed medical value some of this springs have, they are often
popular tourist destinations for Mongolian people. The spring produce water that is good for
health reasons and water is effect for joints, nerve system and considered good for many other
diseases

6. Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake
TerkhiinTsagaan Lake is an astonishingly beautiful lake with relatively pure fresh water. The
lake is 16 km wide, 4-10 meters deep with its deepest point at 28 meters and over 20
kilometers in length. It flooded 61, 1 square km. The lake supports Pike and other fish. Rare
birds are found here.

7. Khorgo mountain
Khorgo mountain is an extinct volcano, which lies east of the Terkhiin Tsagaan lake . The
Khorgo volcano is covered with basalt. It has been protected since 1965, fully in 1997, to
safeguard spectacular mountain scenery and endangered fauna und flora. The grasslands are
rich in wild flowers notably Edelweiss. Torrents of lava issuing from the Khorgo volcano
blocked the north and south Terkh rivers, so forming the dammed lake of TerkhiinTsagaan
Lake at an altitude of 2060 meters above sea level.

8. ErdeneZuu monastery
Erdene Zuu monastery is the most ancient Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. It is in
Uvurkhangai Province, near the town of Kharkhorin and adjacent to the ancient city of
Kharakhorum. It is part of the World Heritage Site entitled Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape.
The monastery was built in 1585 by AbtaiSain Khan, upon the introduction of Buddhism into
Mongolia as the state religion. Stones from the ruins of Karakorum were used in construction.
It is surrounded by a wall featuring 108 stupas, 108 being a sacred number in Buddhism, and
the number of beads in a Buddhist rosary. The monastery was damaged by warfare in the
1680s, but was rebuilt in the 18th century and by 1872 had a full 62 temples inside

9. Khustai National Park
Khustai National Park is located in 110 km southwest of Ulaanbaatar city. Hustai was protected
as a national park since 1993. It covers 50,000 hectare area and national park was known as the
area of Mongolian wild horses Takhi. The Takhi is the last surviving ancestor of the modern
Mongolian horses. Also known as Przewalski's wild horse, the species once roamed the steppe
of Central Asia and Europe, but since 1968 it has been extinct in the wild. The Takhi re-
introduction project is one part of a world-wide initiative to return the highly endangered
species to its Mongolian homeland. Now there are 300 populations have been breeding in this
area. Takhi is now only true wild horse left in the World The park has a bio-diversity of other
rare wild animals and plants. The quantity of various ecosystems within the park assures an
abundance of wildlife.

10. Great Mongol Empire tour

15. Tuvkhun monastery
Tuvkhun monastery was built in 1653. The Tuvkhun monastey was built at ShireetUlaan, the
most beautiful scenery in Khangai mountains. Tuvkhun monastery is located in the densely
forested and picturesque mountain Shivee at an elevation of 2000m above sea level. Tuvkhen
monastery consists of a stupa, prayer wheels and 14 temples and orginally had about 20 lamas.

16. Orkhon waterfall( Ulaan tsutgalan)

17. Khustai National Park
