the World.
5. Hemis Monastery Visit
At an altitude of 12,000ft, hidden between the mountains, Hemis Gompa is hailed as the
biggest and wealthiest monastery of Ladakh.

6. The Magnetic Hill
Magnet Hill is a “Cyclops hill” located 26.5km to the west of Leh in Ladakh.

small stretch of road as it creates an optical
illusion of an uphill road.
➢ Watch vehicles appearing to roll uphill while
parked, in defiance of gravity.
➢ Visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib on the

temperature.
7. Pangong Tso Camping
The saline water lake,Pangong Tso, located at an altitude of 14,270 ft above sea level is
popularly called “The lake of changing colours”.

of blue to green and sometimes reddish.
➢ Take your attention towards migratory birds
