1. Cultural Exportation: Project – Documentary
Week (9) Tuesday 25/03 or Wednesday 26/03
In groups of four prepare a short 8-10 minute documentary/report outlining a
product/concept/ideaor behavior that has travelled globally. Make the video
instructive as well as entertaining. Enlighten the public, highlight the historical
background; what, where, when, who and especially why and how? Consider
the social, economic, political, sociological as well as psychological aspects.
The video will be graded on the following criteria:
Content, interest, structure, teamwork, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation,
body language and professionalism.
The members of the group will then vote for the best documentary after the
viewing session week 9.
Students are also required to hand in a 1,000 word report based on their
research. The report should be typed and printed and handed in week 9.
Work received after this date will not be accepted.
