I am PhD scholar at DIT University India. I am pursuing my PhD in Computer Science & Engineering
and my research Title is - "Cancer Prediction using Machine Learning".
I am applying for Financial aid for this course as I will be doing research using Python. I am not that
financially sound to be able to pay the fees. I support my financial needs by part-time teaching. I am
staying in Dehradun, one of the cities in north India where no other resources are there for income. I
also have to pay my university fees.
So, I really need this financial aid. I had enrolled other courses on NPTEL portal in India which runs
by IIT communities to learn the concepts. I am dedicated to this course as well. I hope that after
doing these courses I will be able to get a decent opportunity in m y career and then I will definitely
try to contribute in whatever way possible to make coursera bigger. Whenever Iget a job, i will
definitely contribute to Coursera financially. I will spread coursera as good-will ambassador.

My Research area is Cancer Prediction using Machine Learning. So I need to understand the
concept of the gene sequence. I am going to do the experiment using Python script. I have been
certified in Python by IIT in India and I have an interest in this for research as well. Once I learned
the concepts of Genome Technologies, Ican help the nation from any epidemic condition by the
research. This course will definitely take me to a great extent in my career as well as the nation.
I would insist my near and dear friends take the course on Coursera of their interest. I have been
following Coursera since it's inception. This course will help me to become a good Python Developer
in the domain of the healthcare system. I will be able to apply this course to build my research
successfully. Ultimately this course will provide me an opportunity to get analyst in the healthcare
system.
