2. Outline Of The Video
The concept of the video is to do a Performance video with a touch of Narrative. I want to have the
Artists performing on a stage but to no one, to have them performing to the camera as if they were
welcoming an audience to a show (i.e. – welcoming us to the first track of the album ‘Courtesy Of
Neptune’s’). By having the artists constantly on screen this will enable me to sell the artist for who
he is as it will be him/her in their natural environment (performing) and will show the audience who
they are and what they do and it will be all-natural as the artists are not anyone big (Like Beyonce
or Jay-Z).
The narrative will help portray the idea of the artist getting ready for the show. It will also show
how he/she got to this point (i.e. – through rehearsing). This will help show the audience that the
artists are your normal everyday people and help show that anyone can make it to where these two
are planning to make to.
- To have the artist performing on stage, show from different angles/costumes/emotions
- To show the artist on his was to the show
(i.e. – bus journey, walking, rehearsing, having fun, socialising)
- To have the singer also singing on stage
- Have her reminiscing on how she got here
