KEYASSIGNEMENTS
Al Iman General Hospital- internship:
working in ER ,OPD,OR, medical observation and develop immediate response, attend
emergencies including minor injuries, sudden illness, and casualties arising from road and rail
accidents, criminal violence, fires and other incidents.
Although the work is diverse there are some regular tasks, which include:-
 Responding to calls for medical assistance at accidents, emergencies and other related incident.
 Assessing the condition of patients who are injured or taken ill suddenly.
 Applying splints to limbs, dressing wounds, administering pain relief, oxygen, drips and fluids.
 Using highly technical equipment, including ventilators to assist breathing and defibrillators to treat
heart failure, in order to resuscitate and stabilize patients.
 carrying out certain surgical procedures when necessary, such as intubation (insertion of a
breathing tube);
 Monitoring the patient's condition.
 Assessing whether and how to move patients and, where appropriate, the best location to
transport them to.
 Working closely with doctors and nurses in hospital accident and emergency departments,
briefing them as their patient arrives at hospital and first aid producer performed.
 Dealing with members of the public and family members present at the scene.
 Producing thorough case notes and reporting the patient's history, condition and treatment to
relevant hospital staff.
 In charge for treatment room and perform all related tasks such as surcharging, treating broken
bones and severe injuries.
Saudi Red Crescent Authority- internship:
Part of Medic-team (fast responders), as a paramedic, I deal with a range of situations, from
minor wounds to serious injuries caused by a major road or rail accident. My main task
 To provide immediate care or treatment. When responding to a call
 Check the patient's condition and decide what action to take.
 Making quick decisions about moving the patient using advanced life support techniques, such as
electric shocks, to resuscitate patients carrying out surgical procedures, such as inserting a
breathing tube providing drug and fluid therapy giving medicines and injections putting on
dressings for wounds and supports for broken bones.
 Keeping accurate records and checking equipment.
 Resuscitating and stabilizing patients.
 Using high tech equipment e.g. defibrillator.
 Applying spinal and traction splints.
 administering intravenous drips, drugs and oxygen
Participated with the Ministry of Interior of the season al-hajj as volunteer in emergency
services.
Participated with wajjep volunteer team as member
Participated with wajjep volunteer team giving first aid for schools
(Elementary, secondary and high school) for 20 hours.
