Staff is suggesting a 5K Fun Run to be
held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 to
coincide with the introduction of the
City’s new branding.
Background

• Staff will coordinate and organize the event
to include:
• Race Route
• Registrations
• Donations
• Advertisement
• T-shirt design and sales
• Set up, break down & cleanup of route
• Coordinate functions with Police & Volunteers
• Miscellaneous supplies

• Fiscal impact will be offset by the number &
amount of donations received as well as
registration fees. Approximate costs may be
$3,500 barring any donations. Expenses include
but are not limited to:
• At least 3 portable toilets, 1handicap & 2 regulars
• T-shirt logo, flyers, street banner & route signs
• Approximately 4 police officers
• Drinks & snacks
