We know that you choose either online or
pre-recorded learning for many different
reasons, but whatever your reason, we want
to make sure you are prepared to have a
positive learning experience.
This orientation is designed to
give you the information and
tools you need to be successful
in your education.
Perhaps the most important thing to know
about online learning at
Fernandez Pre-School and Learning Center is
that each grade provides
the same level of quality, content, and
learning as our usual face-to-face classes
before the pandemic.
STUDENT’S RECORDS
 Student’s records (e.g. Certificate of School
Attendance, Certificate of Good Moral Character,
Certified True Copy of Grades, etc.) will be
processed within three (3) working days upon
request.
 For online students living outside Dipolog City a
PDF file will be sent to your email so that it can be
printed at your convenience.
 Student’s records will be released once all financial
obligations and other requirements have been duly
accomplished.

SCHOOL CALENDAR (SY 2020 - 2021)
 First Day of School – August 24, 2020
 Year End Break (Christmas Break) – December 14,
2020 – January 3, 2021
 Mid SY Break – Feb 1 – 5, 2021
 Last Day of School – May 18, 2021
Class Hours (SY 2020 - 2021)
 Schedule of classes Monday thru Friday
 Number of recitation days:
1 hour a day Pre K2
1 ½ hours a day Kinder
2 ½ hours a day Graders
HOLIDAYS and SPECIAL CASES (SY 2020 - 2021)
 All regular or special holidays shall be observed.
Holidays that are categorized as special, national,
regional and other holidays shall be governed by
the proclamation from the LGU.
 Make – up classes shall be held to compensate for
localized suspensions due to typhoons and other
calamities or local celebrations.
 For compliance and implementation by all
concerned.
TUITION AND SCHOOL FEES
 An enrolment registration fee is required and is
non-refundable for all incoming students of every
school year.
 Payment of the tuition fee may be:
 Annual mode (full tuition upon enrollment of the
student)
 Monthly mode (kindly refer to the table below)
due every 18th of the month representing ten (10)
monthly installments

TEXTBOOKS (Optional) and Worksheets
1. Books with prices
for each year level.
2.You are not required to purchase but if you want to
do so kindly contact the school for your mode of
payment and its delivery.
Distribution and collection schedules of Pre-
Recorded worksheets and OTGs:
1. Every Friday afternoon (2:00 – 5:00) until every
Saturday morning (9:00 – 12:00) at the physical
school.
2.Deliveries will be done every Saturday afternoon
(1:00 – 4:00) to those who opted for this service.
3.Previous worksheets that have already been
answered and OTGs that have been recorded with
the assigned tasks (previous week) shall also be
collected during the mentioned days.
As for worksheets:
 For online learning we will send you a PDF file of
the weekly worksheets the weekend before it will
be used. For an additional fee (PhP 500.00
monthly) online learner within Dipolog City can
have a printed copy of their worksheets available
for pick-up at the physical location of the school.
 Pre-recorded learners should have an adult pick-
up their printed worksheets every Saturday
(9:00am – 4:00pm) at the school since the
students will use it the coming week.
 TRIMESTER (PRESCHOOL) OR QUARTERLY
(GRADERS) ASSESSMENT REPORTS
 Students’ weekly lessons and school performance
are reported to the parents by their adviser at the
end of every quarter.
 Daily lessons and assignments or home works are
summarized which in return will be brought home
by the students on a regular basis. Parents are
encouraged to check their worksheets on a regular.
Examination:
Preschool:
a. First Grading Period November 22-24, 2020
b.Second Grading Period February 15-19, 2021
c. Third Grading Period May 3-7, 2021
Graders:
a. First Grading Period November 9-13, 2020
b.Second Grading Period January 11-15, 2021
c. Third Grading Period March 22-26, 2021
d.Fourth Grading Period May 3-7, 2021
2. Examination pointers for every grade level shall be given to
the students the week before the scheduled examination
dates.
3. Examination Papers:
Pre-Recorded Learning:
a. Examination paper shall be distributed together with the
coming week’s worksheets and OTGs.
b.Your student’s teacher will be giving you specific
instructions as to the recording of when the child will be
answering their respective examination paper.
Online Learning:
a. The answering of your child’s examination paper will be
online and will be given appropriate time to flash their
respective answers.
 School Programs’ Grading System:
The grading system which appears on the schooler’s
Progress Report is as follows:
Breakdown of rating:
 Knowledge (15%)
 Process or skills (25%)
 Understanding (30%)
 Products/performances (30%).

96% - 100% O Outstanding
90% - 95% A Advanced
85% - 89% P Proficient
80% - 84% A P Approaching Proficiency
75% - 79% D Developing
74% and below B Beginning
School Programs’ Grading System:
 Parents are advised to message the school page
regularly to discuss with the teacher the child’s
progress and development.
 Students who completed the School program shall be
awarded a certificate during the Recognition and
Graduation Ceremony at the end of the school year.
 Final issuance of the school student’s Progress Report
at the end of the school year will indicate the
principal’s certification of program completed and the
next level the child is eligible to move up to. This card
will be released once all financial obligations are
settled and other requirements duly accomplished.

 GRADE SCHOOL PROGRESS REPORT CARD &
PROMOTION
The performance of each student shall be
evaluated on a quarterly basis and recorded in his
or her Progress Report. The report cards are given
to the parents or guardians at the end of each
quarter during the scheduled quarterly Parent-
Teacher Conferences.
Report cards must be returned within a two weeks
after its release, except for the last quarter of the
school year.

  • 1. FERNANDEZ PRE-SCHOOL AND LEARNING CENTER, INC. Welcome to
  • 2. Learning online or pre-recorded can be a fun and rewarding part of your education. We know that you choose either online or pre-recorded learning for many different reasons, but whatever your reason, we want to make sure you are prepared to have a positive learning experience.
  • 3. This orientation is designed to give you the information and tools you need to be successful in your education.
  • 4. Perhaps the most important thing to know about online learning at Fernandez Pre-School and Learning Center is that each grade provides the same level of quality, content, and learning as our usual face-to-face classes before the pandemic.

STUDENT’S RECORDS  Student’s records (e.g. Certificate of School Attendance, Certificate of Good Moral Character, Certified True Copy of Grades, etc.) will be processed within three (3) working days upon request.  For online students living outside Dipolog City a PDF file will be sent to your email so that it can be printed at your convenience.  Student’s records will be released once all financial obligations and other requirements have been duly accomplished.

  • 10. SCHOOL CALENDAR (SY 2020 - 2021)  First Day of School – August 24, 2020  Year End Break (Christmas Break) – December 14, 2020 – January 3, 2021  Mid SY Break – Feb 1 – 5, 2021  Last Day of School – May 18, 2021
  • 11. Class Hours (SY 2020 - 2021)  Schedule of classes Monday thru Friday  Number of recitation days: 1 hour a day Pre K2 1 ½ hours a day Kinder 2 ½ hours a day Graders
  • 12. HOLIDAYS and SPECIAL CASES (SY 2020 - 2021)  All regular or special holidays shall be observed. Holidays that are categorized as special, national, regional and other holidays shall be governed by the proclamation from the LGU.  Make – up classes shall be held to compensate for localized suspensions due to typhoons and other calamities or local celebrations.  For compliance and implementation by all concerned.

TUITION AND SCHOOL FEES  An enrolment registration fee is required and is non-refundable for all incoming students of every school year.  Payment of the tuition fee may be:  Annual mode (full tuition upon enrollment of the student)  Monthly mode (kindly refer to the table below) due every 18th of the month representing ten (10) monthly installments

  • 16. TEXTBOOKS (Optional) and Worksheets 1. Books with prices for each year level. 2.You are not required to purchase but if you want to do so kindly contact the school for your mode of payment and its delivery.
  • 17. Distribution and collection schedules of Pre- Recorded worksheets and OTGs: 1. Every Friday afternoon (2:00 – 5:00) until every Saturday morning (9:00 – 12:00) at the physical school. 2.Deliveries will be done every Saturday afternoon (1:00 – 4:00) to those who opted for this service. 3.Previous worksheets that have already been answered and OTGs that have been recorded with the assigned tasks (previous week) shall also be collected during the mentioned days.
  • 18. As for worksheets:  For online learning we will send you a PDF file of the weekly worksheets the weekend before it will be used. For an additional fee (PhP 500.00 monthly) online learner within Dipolog City can have a printed copy of their worksheets available for pick-up at the physical location of the school.  Pre-recorded learners should have an adult pick- up their printed worksheets every Saturday (9:00am – 4:00pm) at the school since the students will use it the coming week.
  • 19.  TRIMESTER (PRESCHOOL) OR QUARTERLY (GRADERS) ASSESSMENT REPORTS  Students’ weekly lessons and school performance are reported to the parents by their adviser at the end of every quarter.  Daily lessons and assignments or home works are summarized which in return will be brought home by the students on a regular basis. Parents are encouraged to check their worksheets on a regular.
  • 20. Examination: Preschool: a. First Grading Period November 22-24, 2020 b.Second Grading Period February 15-19, 2021 c. Third Grading Period May 3-7, 2021 Graders: a. First Grading Period November 9-13, 2020 b.Second Grading Period January 11-15, 2021 c. Third Grading Period March 22-26, 2021 d.Fourth Grading Period May 3-7, 2021
  • 21. 2. Examination pointers for every grade level shall be given to the students the week before the scheduled examination dates. 3. Examination Papers: Pre-Recorded Learning: a. Examination paper shall be distributed together with the coming week’s worksheets and OTGs. b.Your student’s teacher will be giving you specific instructions as to the recording of when the child will be answering their respective examination paper. Online Learning: a. The answering of your child’s examination paper will be online and will be given appropriate time to flash their respective answers.
  • 22.  School Programs’ Grading System: The grading system which appears on the schooler’s Progress Report is as follows: Breakdown of rating:  Knowledge (15%)  Process or skills (25%)  Understanding (30%)  Products/performances (30%).
  • 23. PERCENTAGE RATING DESCRIPTION 96% - 100% O Outstanding 90% - 95% A Advanced 85% - 89% P Proficient 80% - 84% A P Approaching Proficiency 75% - 79% D Developing 74% and below B Beginning School Programs’ Grading System:
  • 24.  Parents are advised to message the school page regularly to discuss with the teacher the child’s progress and development.  Students who completed the School program shall be awarded a certificate during the Recognition and Graduation Ceremony at the end of the school year.  Final issuance of the school student’s Progress Report at the end of the school year will indicate the principal’s certification of program completed and the next level the child is eligible to move up to. This card will be released once all financial obligations are settled and other requirements duly accomplished.

  • 27.  GRADE SCHOOL PROGRESS REPORT CARD & PROMOTION The performance of each student shall be evaluated on a quarterly basis and recorded in his or her Progress Report. The report cards are given to the parents or guardians at the end of each quarter during the scheduled quarterly Parent- Teacher Conferences. Report cards must be returned within a two weeks after its release, except for the last quarter of the school year.
