* My magazine represents a genre of rap and grime. I think I have
done well with my colour choices as I have stuck to a blue, white
and black colour scheme. My magazine is aimed at teenagers at
the age of 15-19.
* I have chose an iconic character to go on the front page of my
magazine, as teenagers may look up to this icon as he is such a
major success. I have also chose to layout my magazine like a
typical teenage music magazine.
3. * Companies like ICP Media may want publish my magazine
because it is professional and appeals to the audience. ICP Media
already have several magazines. Like NME my magazine is similar
to this because it is a music magazine.
* Other companies may be interested in my magazine because it
looks attractive on the shop shelf and appeals to the audience of
teenagers.
* My magazine could be published online, this would broaden the
audience of my magazine and make more publishers and people
aware of my new magazine.
*
4. *
* My front cover has good use of images. I have used my main
image centered and looking at the audience so that it attracts
the audience a lot more than if he wasn’t looking at them.
* I have chosen a good colour scheme of Blue, white and black
because I thought these go well with my main image as its also
in black and white.
* I have an appealing strapline also that would attract the
audience.
5. *
* The main technique that I used is to use bold and colourful
writing. Also to make my pictures stand out I have made them
large and so that the figure is looking at the audience. This
makes the audience feel a little involved .
* Moreover I tried to space out all of my work so it looked more
appealing. For example I wouldn’t have to much text and images
in the same place, unless it was a man article in my magazine.
* I tried to make the main headings of the front cover very
attractive and powerful, so that the audience would be
impressed with my magazine. I also used a underground kind of
font to go with my magazine and its genre.
6. *
* I have learnt many things about microsoft publisher, the program
I have been using. I have learnt the following
* How to create and produce a professional magazine.
* I have learnt how to make my magazine look appealing by
putting text with pictures.
* I have chosen good font genres to go with my magazine. I learnt
that some fonts go better with my magazine than others.
7. * My final magazine production is a massive step ahead of my prelim.
In my prelim, I used colours that didn’t go together and fonts that
only came from word art. I have then learnt from my mistakes and
improved these aspects by making colour charts and colours that go
well.
* On the other hand my final magazine had good fonts that I used from
www.dafont.com. I also produced some colour charts for my final
magazine so that it definitely looked good.
* I also took my photos more proffesionally and with some background
on them. I then cropped these photos I then took of the back gorund
so it blends in with my magazine front cover.
* Moreover on the prelim task I didn’t crop nor did I blend them with
my background.
* I have learnt a lot from doing my prelim, I reviewed magazines then
went away to produce my own professional magazine.
