3. INTRODUCTION
Whisky is the sprit made from the distillation of fermented
mesh of grain usually barley with wheat or maize or a mixture
of the two, matured wood.
The word whisky come from celtic uisgebaugh or uisgebbeatha
which means water of life. Weather it was the Scots or Irish
who first use the word or first distilled whisky is quite
debatable amongst them. The English found celtic word
difficult and to long and Anglicized it to whisky.
