7. What Makes a Letter Assignment 5 Purpose: Created on InDesign, this project was to recognize the repeating shapes that are in the alphabet. This project helped assignment 7, to design a new letter that fits into the alphabet. Solution: Each letter is color-coded with the shapes that make it up.

9. Overview of Written Alphabet PowerPoint Assignment 6 Purpose: Five different alphabets were explored. This PowerPoint examines the shapes that make up each alphabet. The alphabets that were researched include Armenian, Hiragana, Ancient Phoenician, Greek, and Cyrillic. 10. New Letter Assignment 7 Purpose: With the knowledge from Assignment 5 of the shapes that make up the Roman Alphabet a new letter was constructed that appeared to fit into the alphabet. Solution: The letter was made up of “C”, “V” and “slanted –”

14. Real World Assignment Purpose: To create a brochure for the Town of Esopus Library Foundation that makes the public aware of this foundation and encourages them to donate monetary funds to support the library. Solution: The original solution included the library’s natural environment.
