3 AM’s Characters
Mia – Ella Alston
 Mia is our main character, she is a 12 year
old enthusiastic girl who tries to prove
       everyone wrong.
 She is the hero throughout 3AM and
determined to prove her point. She does
this by running away to look for the
       creature she believes she found.
   Mia is shown in several locations;
       school,home,forest and her room. Each
location will include a different outfit. At
school she will wear her uniform, home
her pyjamas and forest casual clothes.
 As our movie has a target market of families
we thought making the main character a
young girl would be perfect as anyone
could relate to her, especially the kids.
 Mia is seen talking to her friends and sister
about what she's seen, these are shown
       in the script.
Police Officer – Gerard Alston
 The police officer is only shown in the trailer one
however he has a very important role in
                     creating enigmas.
 He is known as the community officer and is
seen to be helpful and caring, but the
community don’t know that he's actually in on
it and that he knows what's going on.
 He starts off by asking mias sister questions to
try and help find her because she's missing
when infact he knows what could be the
                     cause of her appearance.
 The scene ends when the police officer makes a
call to a fellow officer and says ‘no one can
know’ so the audience can see he's not all
what he makes out he is.
 In the trailer to make him look the part he will
be wearing a suit to make him look like a
private investigator also holding a brief case.
Ashleigh- Ashleigh Alston

 Ashleigh is Mias older sister and is one
of the reasons why Mia has decided
        to run away.
 Her scenes include her and Mia having
a conversation and her not believing
Mia and also her being questioned
        by the police.
 Ashleigh is meant to come off at first as
quite a mean character, then towards
the end of the trailer as caring and
        considerate.
 We decided to include the sister in the
trailer as it gives more of a family feel
and represents real life and how
        siblings act with each other.
Teachers – Ms Hunt & Ms Payne

 We have used two teacher in our school
                     to act in the trailer
 It includes two teachers in a staff room
talking about how there's loads of
people ‘sick’ off school. When infact
                     it’s the kids going missing.
 This helps show that whatever is out
                     there is stealing children.
Extras
 Extras include school girls in the classroom scene and a group of
      Mia’s friends
 Other extras are pictures of people who are included on the
      missing posters scenes.
