2. TIME TO GIVE BACK
“What will be your legacy?” – Leise Martinez
I want to…
Leave something behind for Rosemont High School or
Community
Include music in some kind of aspect
Why not fundraise!?
3. LET’S PUT THIS PLAN INTO
ACTION

High/Online
Overall Logistics – Filing and organizing proper paperwork
Volunteer Management – Arranging a work force only for
music orientated students
Sponsors? Admission and/or Vendor Fee?
6. OVERALL LOGISTICS: DATE &
TIME/PERMIT/FEES
When?
Must not conflict in other
organized activities
Weather must be bearable for
an out door event
Paperwork?
Submitted permit application
Attended Music Booster
Meeting in order to receive
sponsorship
Fees?
Mentor & I: Envisioned free admission for public and $10 to become a
vendor
Music Booster President: Insisted on $30 for vendor registration
Solution: Compromised at $25
7. VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT:
MUSIC STUDENTS
In order to keep my event music orientated, I decided to reserve the ability to
volunteer only for music students. Those within the program will have more
motivation than those who have never touched an instrument.
Took time in all of Mrs. Wilmer’s music classes
to present the opportunity
Left sign up sheets for one week

meeting in order to meet with all volunteers and go over crucial information

10. SUCCESS!
Total Earnings: $150.00
In today’s economy, I understand that it’s not a fortune. However, the
fact that I had no prior experience in organizing an event and
originally was just a project I needed to complete, I feel accomplished
knowing that my legacy was left behind with Rosemont’s Music
Program.
11. LEAVING WITH KNOWLEDGE

position when compromising
