13. DRAFT SCRIPT
These scenes will be shot in the close where
the character lives and will be close up shots
of each piece of clothing is being mentioned in
the narration.
For this scene, I will be filming outside the
student entrance gate with the actor walking
out through the gates from inside the school
and walking of to the side until they are out of
the shot. This will be an establishing shot.
This will be an establishing shot of
two houses next to each other, with
the character ‘Mia’ outside the front
door of one and her parents outside
the door of the other house. They will
all be looking at the camera and then
look at each other.
These shots will be filmed in my house. The shots about OCD
and washing hands will be over the shoulder or birds eye view
shots of her washing her hands. The shots about her needing
one of everything in life will be another over the shoulder or
birds eye view shot of the character opening a cutlery drawer
and showing one fork, one knife and one spoon in with her
picking the spoon out and shutting the drawer again.
For these shots, I will be filming at different locations
of ‘Mia’ watching the world go by. For one shot, I
want to include her sat on the shore at the beach
slightly sat in the water with the sea behind her
looking at the people walking along the beach.

For these shots, it will all be filmed outside my house.
The majority of the conversation will be over the shoulder shots
going between all three characters showing who they are each
talking to.
At the end, I will film them driving off down the road going away
from the house. This shot will be an establishing shot and will run
until the car has driven out of the close and out of the shot.
For the rest of the film, I will be filming at Mudeford because that
is where my boat is kept and therefore I will be filming there
setting up the boat scenes and in the sea there too.
