present the title of the article, its author, and the main point of

Issue discussed: Apprenticeship is one which not only
provides learning experiences to the learners but also help
them to be able to live gainful life through industry based on
experiences
5. STRENGTHS: POSITIVE POINTS
Dr Usha Bhandari discussed an important topic (I mean
apprenticeship)
The purpose of her study is to present apprenticeship as a
good opportunity of learning based on experiences
She mostly used paraphrasing to review the literature and
presented apprenticeship as an experiential learning with
theoretical and practical instruction
6. STRENGTHS: POSITIVE POINTS (Cont…)
She also confirmed that apprenticeship system is not new
and it can be considered as a renewed approach in the field of
vocational training
Finally, in her article, she attempted to show how
apprenticeship (as a TVET programme) can contribute to
youth capacities or skills enhancement.
She tried to reveal that apprenticeship is career oriented and
directly related with the application of theory into practice
7. WEAKNESSES: MY CRITIQUE
However, Dr Usha Bhandari did not provide key information
about apprenticeship system and did not also develop how it
is a boundless opportunity for experiential learning
First, the abstract is not well formatted. Its content does
respect the general format such as: Purpose, Methods,
Findings and Conclusions
Then, the given title is clear but not appropriate to this article

Since it is said the Apprenticeship system is the boundless
opportunity for experiential learning, every readers would
expect some key points on what is apprenticeship system and
How it should be conducted after dealing with
apprenticeship as a boundless opportunity and apprenticeship
in vocational education
Finally, the writer used a qualitative approach through only
secondary data collection. So, she did not have a sufficient
data that can help to measure if what she stated is right or not
9. RECOMMENDATIONS
For specific revisions, I’d like to make the following
suggestions:
Topic: Make it precise and it can be: Apprenticeship
through Experiential Learning in Vocational Training
Methods: Do a survey to crosscheck or support her
secondary data collection. Through this, she can more
develop the content of her article
Content: She would develop more her content based on the
data collected and findings
10. CONCLUSION
This article focused on apprenticeship system as a boundless
opportunity for experiential learning
As a National Programme Officer in Swiss Agency for
Development and Cooperation (SDC) in Nepal, Dr Usha
presented apprenticeship as a useful tool to put theory into
practice
Future research is necessary to provide evidence of the
usefulness of apprenticeship and how it is a boundless
opportunity for experiential learning in vocational training
