3. Firstly lets start off by explaining what
artificial intelligence is
• Artificial Intelligence is the way in which technologies perceive,
understand, synchronize and demonstrate information, in contrast
to humans and other creatures.
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to address some of the
biggest challenges in education today, innovate teaching and
learning practices, and accelerate progress towards SDG 4.
• The rapid growth of AI in the 21st Century needs educators who are
willing to learn and give AI a chance.

4. How it can influence teaching
and learning
AI technologies in
education should be
purposed to enhance
human capacities and to
protect human rights for
effective human-
machine collaboration in
life, learning and work,
and for sustainable
development.
Teaching the teacher
One thing that is important
in education is for the
teacher to not rely on their
old, residual knowledge.
There are more facts that
they need to know and
teach the students as well.
Not to mention the fact that
they study and teach within
a limited scope and there
are many other things that
they can still learn.
With AI, teachers have
comprehensive information
available to them at their
fingertips. This allows them
to keep themselves
educated in things that they
didn’t know or improve on
their past knowledge. With
this, they will be better-

6. BENEFITS TO TEACHERS
• AI can complement the teacher’s work in a classroom to
identify some of the weaknesses within the classroom. For
example, AI will be able to identify when some students miss
specific questions.
• With AI, teachers have comprehensive information available to
them at their fingertips. This allows them to keep themselves
educated and therefore allow them to educate 21st-century
students.

• AI is here and cannot be stopped and therefore educators
should embrace it to its fullest.
• Doing so will not only benefit the teachers, but also enhance
knowledge for the 21st Century students
making learning fun for all
