 Artificial Intelligence is accomplished by
studying how human brain thinks and how
human learn,decide and work while trying to
solve a problem, and then using outcomes of
this study as basis of developing intelligent
software and system.
 Artificial Intelligence (AI) is branch of
computer science which deal with intelligence
of machine where an intelligent agent is a
system that takes actions which maximize the
chances of success.
 A further step towards the development of
modern AI was the creation of the logic
Theorist. Designed by Newell and Simion in
1955 it may be considered the first AI
program.
 The modern history of AI can be traced back
to the year 1956 when John McCathy
proposed the term as the topic for a
conference held at Dartmouth college.
 Less Errors: Errors are reduced and the chance of
reaching accuracy with a greater degree of
precision is a possibility.
 Faster decision : Using artificial
intelligence,decision can be taken very fast.
 No breaks:Unlike humans, machines can work
24*7 without any break.
 Medical Applications:Increasing the integration of
AI tools in everyday medical applications could
improve the efficiency of treatment and avoid
cost by minimizing the risk of false diagnosis.
 Automated Transportation
 Improved elder care
 Health care
 Agriculture
 Aerospace and Defence
 Manufacturing
 Chatbox: A chatbox works in much the same way
as human manning a help desk.When a customer
opens a chat dialogue to ask for assistance, the
chatbox is the medium responding.
Examples:Hike natasha,eCommers Help Desk.
 Speech Recognition: The goal of a speech
recognition research is to allow computers to
understand human speech. So that they can hear
our voices and recognize the words we are
speaking.Examples:Siri,cortana,google voice
 Natural language processing: it is possible to
interact with the computer that understands
natural language spoken by humans
 Robotics : Robots can now understand and
learn from images ,video ,and audio . Some
robots even have rudimentary ability to
reason . Sophia is the most complete example
of AI.
 AUTONOMOUS : Tesla vehicles produced in
our factory, including Model 3,have the
hardware needed for full self-driving
capability at safety level substantially greater
than that of human driver.
 Job at Risk: 80 million jobs in the United
States are at risk of being taken over by
robots in the next few decades.
 Self modifying : When combined with self-
replication , can lead to dangerous
,unexpected results such as new and
frequently mutating computer virus.
