To whom it may concern,
It is my pleasure to write this letter for Zackaria JALAL, joining CMI in the Winter-Spring
of 2015 to work at CMI as an intern.
Crystal McKenzie, Inc. (CMI) is a Strategic Branding firm. The company offers a wide
range of services, including:
• Brand Strategy / Brand Identity and Package Design
• Web Site Development – including information architecture, interactive media
• Sales Promotion Communications – as an adjunct to advertising
• Corporate Communications and Corporate Literature – including corporate promotion
• Editorial Design – including newspapers, newsletters and magazines
• Environmental Design – graphic and 3-dimensional design in the built environment
Zackaria was instrumental in supporting our team, working directly with a small creative
staff, handling some general office and clerical work, but primarily doing unsupervised
tasks such as market research.
He increased his contribution to the firm on a weekly basis, as he learned more about the
company and our operating procedures. The projects he worked on were most notably:
 Leadership role in increasing a performing arts client’s social media presence and
was responsible for developing content
 Gained first-hand experience in marketing, something new outside his major, leading
him to rethink his career direction
 Assisted in client pitch meetings, gaining insight to the creative business marketing process
 He also helped in project management coordination, documenting phases of the
project process to help keep the team on track
 This experience strengthened his perspective on American business and how he
contributes to corporate success by exercising his innate business skills.
Mr. Jalal proved himself with distinction during his tenure at CMI and we recommend him
for whatever endeavors he aspires.
