Harbourfront Centre's NextSteps dance season opens with SADHANA on October 2nd, 2016 at 6pm in the Studio Theatre. SADHANA will feature emerging South Asian dance and percussion artists performing Indian classical forms of bharatha natyam and kathak dance, and mridangam and tabla drums. The performance is presented by Pratibha Arts in association with Harbourfront Centre to kick off their 2016/2017 dance season.

WHAT:
Harbourfront Centre’s NextSteps is back and kicks off the 2016/2017 dance season with
SADHANA. This one-day series features emerging South Asian dance and percussion artists
performing in the Indian classical forms of bharatha natyam and kathak dance, and mridangam
and tabla drums. SADHANA – which means dedication to one’s art in Sanskrit – is proudly
presented by Pratibha Arts in association with Harbourfront Centre.
