Old School has become the New School for the
Hollywood based rock band Ambrose, as they
bring long forgotten, vintage tones back to
major airwaves with their new single, “Nothing
Left To Lose.” The pre-release single from
Ambrose’s forthcoming album titled “Nothing
Left To Lose,” sticks to the band’s true
commitment to writing and recording songs that
are crafted for live performance. The Ambrose
sound is driven by a soulful organic approach
which captures the energy of their live
performances. Recording with minimal
overdubbing gives their music an uncompressed,
natural feel that has been long lost in the digital
age of production.
Ambrose has once again begun winning over
new listeners as active rock stations have taken a
chance putting their independent release on the
their airwaves. As an unsigned, independent
band this is truly rewarding, as there are no
external pressures influencing the DJ’s / PD’s to
put their music into rotation. The airplay being
received is solely based on audience retention
and positive reaction. Ambrose believes that if a
song is strong enough to keep an audience
tuned in then an attentive D.J. will keep it
spinning.
For the second time in the last 5 years Ambrose
has a single climbing the Media-Base Charts and
now have had close to 1,000 combined spins
with 7 of their songs getting play on major
terrestrial radio.
The band's forthcoming album, "Nothing Left To
Lose" is slated for an independent release
through the band’s own label, Rose-Mark
Records, August 15th
. Ambrose will be
performing live for KHTQ and their new fan-base
in Spokane.
BEATING THE ODDS AS AN INDEPENDENT
In 2010 the band broke onto the Active Rock
scene with their first single, "Promise Land,"
reaching #74 on the Active Rock daily spins
Media Base charts. The band's 2nd single
"All I Ever Wanted" reached #82 on the POP
/ Hot AC charts with major support and
rotation on SIRIUS Hits-1 with Kid Kelly
leading the way to their success of reaching
hundreds of thousands of new listeners
across the U.S.
PROVEN LIVE PERFORMANCE SUCCESS
Ambrose cut their teeth and perfected their craft while constantly performing numerous shows at
classic venues along the Sunset Strip. Ambrose quickly became a headlining act at some of the most
recognizable venues in Los Angeles including The Roxy, Viper Room, and The House of Blues. The band
became accustomed to producing their own nights usually as a monthly residency at The Roxy and the
Key Club allowing them to ensure their audience that they would get the most for their money,
booking the best supporting acts from all over Los Angeles.

PRESS
“A wonderful, heart-opening, passionate album of love, loss, and redemption with spangles of sunlight
and shades of U2. An auspicious debut.”
- Jonathan Cott (Contributing Editor) - Rolling Stone Magazine
“These guys deliver the rock show. And they do it because they love it. They obviously took their cues
from their predecessors. A little bit Guns N Roses, a sprinkling of Ziggy Stardust, a pinch of Led
Zeppelin and then toss in a heap of rippin’ guitar solos, crashing drums and Zak's power vocals and
you’ve got yourself some Ambrose. It’s American rock and roll, Sunset Strip style.”
- Bill McCoy (Freelance Journalist) - US Weekly
"Put on “Nothing Left To Lose” and watch the phones light up.”
- Garry Allen - KHTQ Program Director – www.rock945.com
"They're a throwback to the kind of old rock that you don't hear on the radio anymore, but there
should be a place for this.”
- Kidd Kelly (PD Sirius Xm) - Entertainment Weekly
