An individual’s behaviour towards others, attitude, characteristics, mindset make his
personality thus, personality development is defined as a process of enhancing one’s
personality. However, personality development sessions guide an individual as to how he/she
can develop his/her personality
PERSONALITY TRAITS DEFINED:
According to Larsen R. and Buss D. (2016) personality traits is a stable, organized
collection of psychological traits and mechanisms in the human being that influences his or her
interactions with and modifications to the psychological, social and physical environment
surrounding them. Moreover, personality does not change just from one day to another and
actually it changes hardly at all. If, there are many changes these are very limited and slow. If,
they occur they may be caused by trauma or life changing experience. According to Diener E.
and Lucas R. (2016) supported that personality traits reflect people’s characteristics patterns of
thought, feelings, and behaviour. And also, personality traits imply consistency and stability
someone who scores high on a specific trait like extraversion is expected to be sociable in
different situations and over time. Thus, trait psychology rests on the idea that people differ
from one another in terms of where they stand on a set of basic trait dimension that persists
over time and across situations this system includes five broad traits is called the five factor
model and can be remember with the acronym OCEAN: openness, conscientiousness,
extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism.

managers personality traits. Values, describe that managers try to achieve through work and
how they think should behave. Another is, attitude capture managers thought and feelings

managers actually feel when they are managing.
