RE: Letter of Completion for Ms. Yuying CHEN
To Whom it May Concern:
It is my pleasure to inform you that Ms. Yuying CHEN has completed a total of 37 volunteer
hours since September working in our office as a volunteer Intern. Ms Chen has worked
with me directly to help develop the structure of a research project focusing on the value
of sustainability education and skills in the employment marketplace. Specifically, Ms.
Chen has:
Conducted high-level research on reports and industry publications connected to this
topic, and has summarized the findings and outcomes of various studies.
Drafted initial sections of the research proposal paper, including the ties to research
and justification criteria.
Worked with me closely on developing the scope of the study.
I would like to note that our internships are normally paid, but Yuying was ineligible for pay
because she was an international exchange student. Remarkably, Yuying offered to volunteer
her time without pay because of her passion for building a more sustainable campus. Her
selflessness in this regard was impressive, and her commitment to volunteering to serve the
UST community was immensely appreciated by all of us in the UST Sustainability office.
IN addition, Yuying performed at a high professional level and completed her tasks in an
efficient and timely manner. Yuying’s work style and personality make her a pleasure to
have in the office, and we were all pleased to have her spend the time with us.
Sincerely,
Davis Bookhart
