3. Art and design were always prominent
aspects in my life, holding firm of my
interest at an early age. Through memory,
I remember the stages in playing with
my Building Blocks, creating buildings
that eventually transformed into cities.
Growing up, one of my favorite shows was
Extreme Makeover Home Edition. It is a
very influential show that filled me with not
only design inspirations, but also emotional
experiences that accumulated desires
for my passion. Additionally I was always
touched by the transformation this show
can acquire to one’s life.
High school led me to enroll in CAD,
which is a computer-aided design class.
Due to the love I developed as well as
the knowledge I intake, I willingly took all
levels they offered. Essential to concluding
this program, as a final project I had to
design a floor plan for a residence, which
cultivated the necessary experience to
this field.

I still had no idea what I wanted to do
for the rest of my life, even though I
was introduced to my destiny within
that chapter. Eventually, due to pass
productive researches, I came about
relevant information regarding the Art
Institute of New York City, and the programs
they offered, keying interior design.
The enrollment at the Art Institute of
New York City grant me the pursuit of
my associates’ degree in interior design.
This journey allowed me to become
proficient due to great references and
an unexpected growth in knowledge
that defined my character in becoming
a mastered interior designer. Upon
discovering and challenging my
capabilities, I molded great aspects of
designs to formulate this evidential skill. In
essence, I desire to fulfill boundless assets
at a residential interior design firm.
