Amazon.INC, Seattle, WA (Software Engineer Full-time) Mar 2015– Present
• Used Python to implement new features of Rackbuilder(a tool to build switch), add new phase to the
Rackbuilder such as check internal cabling and save configuration.
• Given initial configuration to the new host, installed tffh on the new host, flipped the ip-helper from the old
host to the new one to retire an old host.
Wpromote.INC, Los Angeles, CA (Software Engineer Full-time Intern) Aug 2014–Dec 2014
• Used LAMP to design the API of website of the company, use advanced REST client to test, implement the
CPR and reports components to our company.
• Developing Restful service using Spring MVC in the backend and use PHP to reduce the latency of the website
and do the data verification.
PROJECTS
• Host Retirement (Company Project)
Retired the old host and provision the new host
§ Install all the services to the new host, such as SwtichBuilder(a tool to build switch),
BrickDefs(switch configuration) and tffh (ip address) on the new host, flip the ip-helper from
the old host to the new one to retire an old host.
§ Use Python to make code change to tffh-mapping and nettools config.
• Database System Design for the USC Fire Hydrant System (School Project)
Designed the USC Fire Hydrant System to query the information of the buildings on fire and the nearest
fire hydrants in a particular scope of the USC map
§ Used JDBC to connect SQL and Java to implement the USC Fire Hydrant System
§ Designed a GUI to visualize USC campus, the positions of hydrants and buildings on fire
• Website Result Web Scrawler (Individual Project)
Designed and built a robust text scraper that will connect to a page on www.shopping.com and return
results about a given keyword.
§ Use OOP design to solve this problem and also implement the documentation
§ Get total number of results given a keyword with specific page.
• Ajax and JSON Design for the Stock Search (School Project)
Used Ajax and JSON to extract information from Yahoo Finance and reorganize into a new web page
§ Used the YUI library to have a tab view on the page to enhance the user experience and
connected to Facebook and post the details
§ Implemented autocomplete function and used AWS as the web hosting instead of Apache
