• Working as the individual software developer, I develop web applications for the TWS website and for in house use, using
ColdFusion as the programming language and SQLServer as the database.

PROJECTS
Dynamo key-value store [C++]
• Implemented the Dynamo key-value store, the technology underlying Amazon's shopping cart using Netsim
as the underlying simulator. Used Hash Maps to store the nodes and their addresses by hashing their address
using SHA-1.
• Executed put and get operations on the key-value pairs for each node.
• Implemented Replication and Quorum to support transient failures. Used consistent hashing technique to
partition the area among the nodes.
Socket Programming Project [C]
• Implemented Socket Programming in C on UNIX to simulate client server architecture between four mobile units, two
checkpoints and one Target.
• Performed a race between the 4 units to reach the target which involved constant interaction between mobile units
and the checkpoints to reach the target correctly. It involved both TCP and UDP sockets.
Google Maps and Flickr API’s Mashup [AJAX/JSON]
• Integrated Flickr and Google Maps API to Design and develop the course Project using AJAX to asynchronously
retrieve the XML data using a Java Servlet.
• Merged the XML data from Flickr and Google Maps into a JSON file and returned it back to the program.
OS Kernel Programming [C/C++]
• Built significant parts of an operating system for a simulated workstation using NACHOS and completed various
phases: thread management, thread-synchronization, multiprogramming, and virtual memory, paging (Implementa-
tion of TLB, page-tables & Fork and Exec System calls).

2. Software Architecture [JAVA]
• Created different kernels and executables from the given scientific code in JAVA (Monte Carlo Simulation) and made
a workflow design using YAWL workflow system.
• Used PRISM-MW middleware technology and implemented the given Software in Scientific Workflow Software
Architecture.
Database Systems
• Designed CIOM and EER models for Course Assignment.
• Explored relationship between semantic object model and relational database model. Created a database and used
SQL queries on MySQL to perform a set of operation on the Data.
Text Scraper/Crawler [JAVA]
• Created a text scraper that crawled a page of NexTag and returned the results about a given keyword.
• Used Java’s URL and URLConnection classes along with regular expressions to build this project.
Page Scraping [PERL]
• Executed a server side script developed using PERL to scrape Google search and Windows Live search results
for a particular search string and display them in a table on another webpage.
Task Management System [JSP]
• As a Part of a team of interns built a Web based “Task Management System” using JSP, JavaScript, CSS and
Oracle 10g. It had separate view for Client, Project Manager and Team Leader.
