John Fitzgerald Kennedy, 35th President of United States, was born in Brookline, Massachusetts on May 29, 1917. His father, Joseph Kennedy Sr.,
was a wealthy investor who wanted his sons to be important figures in American politics. Joseph Kennedy Sr. always favored his oldest son, Joseph
Jr., to achieve his family's long time ambition to become a President of the United States. However, his eyes turned to John, after Joseph was killed
in battle during World War II. John knew he was going to be the replacement for his brother; only way to make his father happy was to become an

begun. The invasion was a total failure, since nobody in the island showed any interest of joining the coup against Castro. Castro's men captured
1189 prisoners and ransomed them for ten million dollars. It was the first major step for Kennedy during his administration, which gave him total
humiliation. Later in his term, Kennedy refers to Bay of Pigs "Cuba was a hell of a time." This convinced Kennedy never to trust anyone ever
again. Moreover, maybe perhaps, this was why he was successful during the Cuban missile crisis. Kennedy focused on what he called "Five Must
Bills." The plan included federal assistance to public schools, hospital insurance for the aged, legislation for housing, aid to depressed areas, and
increasing minimum wages. Kennedy knew that dealing with Congress could be difficult, since 21 Democrat seats in the house had been lost in the
1960 election. Although Democrats were still a majority, the South contributed 108 seats in the House, and 21 seats in the Senate. This was very hard
for Kennedy since he wanted to focus more on the social changes that were happening in the country such as civil rights movement. In February of

In the spring of 1941, both John and Joe, Jr., decided to enroll in the armed services. Joe was accepted as a naval air cadet but John was turned down
by both the army and navy because of his back trouble and history of illness. After months of training and conditioning, John reapplied and on
September 19, John was accepted in to the navy as a desk clerk in
Washinton. He was disgusted and applied for a transfer. In June 1941,

gives the audience a visual image of the difficulty involved in space navigation. They are standing in the football stadium, so it is easy to visualize the
target area of twenty yards, and compare that to the distance from Cape Canaveral in Florida, to the stadium in Houston, Texas.
Kennedy also uses Pathos, Ethos, and Logos in order to appeal to the crowd, and the average US citizen sitting at home. Kennedy says that "Technical
schools such as Rice will reap the harvest of these gains." (Kennedy, 1962, p.3). By saying this, Kennedy is trying to rationalize the space–program by
appealing to the emotions of the college students (Pathos). If the attendants of the college feel that the space– program will help them learn more,

I watched JFK and was very surprised, I had not seen it before and thought it was about the life of John F Kennedy whilst he was in the White
House but it was not. It was about his assassination and what followed, how everyone was so quick to call it an attack by a lone gunman but how

When JFK first took office the economy was in a recession, but throw his reforms he was able to keep inflation around 1%, industrial product

economy to prosper, helping all of America to get back on its feet. But this was only one of many times he has done something good for the right
reason. In March of 1961, JFK established the Peace Corps. This allowed American volunteers to work in underdeveloped countries to help with
education, healthcare, farming, and re/construction. Since then over 220,000 American have joined and helped in 140 countries. This doesn't help
the well being of the U.S. but more so to the people in other countries, showing that this was done for the right reason and for no underlying
