slaves brought from Africa. Slave labor was used mostly in southern agriculture. Working conditions for slaves were dismal at best with inadequate

Looking up where unions actually originated can be traced back to the early history of America. Throughout time, unions did their best in acquiring

My Experience At The Labor Day Holiday Essay
This week was a very hectic week, being that it was a short week because of the Labor Day Holiday. I cannot talk about this week without talking
about my job. Waking up Tuesday Morning I had my day planned out. I was going to go into work for a little while and then go to my field
placement. However, when I went into work on Tuesday that plan went out the door and my entire day was spent at work. My stress level immediately
went through the roof thinking about how I am going to get my hours in for my field internship. I identify with a Type–A Personality; I sometimes have
problems dealing with the feeling of being unproductive, although technically I was at work doing my job. I am a type of person that values
structure and an am inpatient with delays. Over the years I have learned how to manage the anxiety that comes with my personality. I have learned

As I exit the car, the sunshine meets my pasty white skin, breaking through the bitter chill of my body. Quickly, I hurry over to the driver's seat
window. "Be sure to pick a juicy one," my mother says, just before kissing me on the forehead. Her bright cherry red lipstick brands my face as if
to mark me. Her dark sunglasses masks the beauty of her eyes and her black bonnet prevents her curly dark hair from being exposed to the world.
She rolls up the dark tinted windows before driving away secretly, being sure no one saw her and ensuring no one was following her. As a seven
year old, I always thought it was odd that my mom would drop me off at the park alone, although she knows I can take care of myself. My small
