▰ Can handle 3,689,672 passenger arrivals and
▰ Expansion will push capacity to five million hub for
Thai AirAsia and New Gen Airways.
▰ Accommodate the maximum size aircraft up to
Boeing B747 or Airbus A340.
▰ Single runway with the length 3,000 meters and the
width 45 meters, together with 7.50 meters of
pavement in each side

visitors in 2006 to 2.03 million visitors in 2016,
translating into a 5-year CAGR of 33% and a 10 year
CAGR of 24%, making Krabi one of Southeast Asia’s
fastest growing tourism markets.

The development of Krabi Airport amounting
to 6,892 million baht during the period of 2018-2020
consists of the renovation of Terminal 1 and 2, with

Plan for budget approval to provide strategic
plan of maintenance. KBV is under the supervision of
Ministry of Finance. The Ministry of Transport or the
Department of Airport should be authorized to use funds
outside of the budget to airport director.
Plans for various equipment maintenance for
the airport director for example, budget for building
improvement. In addition to the Department of Airport
should have emergency funds to be used appropriately
and urgently

▰ Supervising shift personnel, devising and implementing operating
procedures, monitoring airport expenditures.

with engine catches fire or engine problem, fire
department airport can suspend within immediately and
evacuate injured to nearby hospital less than 1 hour.
