Solar Energy Parking Systems Announces Construction Plans for NewEast Coast Division in
Easton
Diversified Solar Energy Construction Firmto Expand to Downtown Easton Area and Beyond
Easton, PA - March 5, 2015 - Solar Energy Parking Systems (SEPS) announces new plans for a 20,000
square foot facility in Downtown Easton, PA on March 20 2015.

2. SEPS is a diversified solar energy manufacturing company, based in Santa Rosa,CA specializing in solar
panels on top of parking garages and existing properties. The Easton facility will be equipped with 1000
offices, 10 floors, and 5 loading docks. It will also be equipped with solar energy panels across the
building roof and parking garage. This is part of an effort to bring solar energy manufacturing to the east
coast,with easy access to PA,NJ,and NY- eventually spreading to Baltimore and Washington DC.
The executive team of husband and wife Joseph and Rose Quinn started the company in 2010. SEPS
president Rose Quinn received her start as a finance specialist for four years at Wells Fargo Bank. She
spent six years at Sun Energy Systems as CFO, where they sold solar energy for homes. She received her
MBA from UCLA, and her BA from UCLA Riverside. Vice president Joseph Quinn spent ten years at
California Electric Utilities Company as an Environmental Engineer. He received his PhD from UCLA in
Engineering. UCLA Chancellor Gene Block said, "The future of solar energy is now, and Solar Energy
Parking Systems is on the fast track to success. I look for them to do great things in the future."
In 2014, SEPS was awarded a $3 million energy grant from congress to expand on the east coast.
Pennsylvania Governor Todd Wolfe said, "We like to salute congress and President Obama for approving
the funding necessary to get this project off the ground. We look to have all of our PSAC schools
equipped with this valuable technology in 5 years." Talks are in the works with New Jersey Governor
Chris Christie for construction at The Mall at Short Hills, Short Hills NJ and Piscataway Center,
Piscataway NJ in May.
Solar panel roofs over parking lots is expected to save up to 35% on utility expenses. COO Jimi
Hendricks said, “Companies can generate energy for buildings to help cover utility costs. It's a great way
for existing property to generate energy.” Some commercial properties that can take advantage of this
technology are: hospitals, shopping centers,and schools.

3. For their first campus project, a ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled at Bloomsburg University on
March 23. Governor Todd Wolfe will be in attendance. Wolfe said about the project, "This project will be
the first of many in long term savings in the PSAC solar energy movement with many more projects to
soon come. We are also very pleased to see more jobs created in our state." The SEPS California
headquarters has 250 staff members while the Easton location plans on hiring 80 people.
SEPS generated $97 million in revenue last year with 60 different properties. Such clients are: Mondavi
Vineyards, University of San Diego, and the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
There will be a radio interview scheduled on WDIV this week, with the executive team of Rose and
Joseph Quinn. They will be discussing the technology of their company and any future plans.
