1. Tuesday 16th
October – We were told that our time to film our ‘TV
advert’ was today, and we only had the afternoon to film it in. A
member of our team plannedthe storyboard for the advert, and later
on in the day, during the afternoon, we filmed all the footage that
would appearduring the advert.
Wednesday 17th
October – I began editing the advert on a Mac in
Adobe Premiere Pro. At the end of the day, I was around halfway done
editing the footage of the advert together. After coming home from
college, I began recording the music that would play on my electric
guitar.
Thursday 18th
October – I continuedto edit the advert. I finished
editing the advert video-wise, but I still needed to insert the guitar
music (which I recorded earlier) and sound effects into the advert.
Friday 19th
October – I placed the guitar music (which was a piece of
improvised music that I had recorded earlier that week) into the video,
along with several sound effects, includingthe sound of a can opening,
which played when one of the actors opened the can of Irn-Bru.
Something I can improve, if I were to make the advert again, would be
that I would make sure that the footage was focusing on what needed
to be in focus, like the actors, the can of Irn-Bru, etc. Had my group and
I had more time, we would have managed to achieve this goal.
