pollution"Environment pollution is a much familiar topic in the present time. We are deeply related to environment pollution. It is the biggest problem
in Bangladesh even the world. The environment is refers everything in our surroundings. It means air, water, soil, people, plants and animals etc and
also the natural forces and climate make up the environment. All these thing are related together. The system is in a steady state of dynamic balance. If
the relationship is disrupted, it...show more content...
For example, we use to take birth, use for cows birth, for cleaning dishes and we use that water to drink. Sometime we through the waste and
ointment in the water. As a result we are creating water pollution. According to the data compiled by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration (NOAA), "approximately 1.4 billion lbs of trash is dumped in the oceans every year". So, water is being polluted. If water is
polluted it effects on our environment and make environment pollution as well. So we should not use same water for whole work. At least, our
goal should be to avoid water pollution. Thirdly, we are familiar with sound pollution. Urban life is full of different type of machines, germents
factories, metal works and different type of vehicles. Those are creating a lot amount of sound which is harmful for our ear, heart and health. As a
result, People can be heart attck and deaf forever. Sometimes it inhance blood pressure and create headache and peptic ulcer (Alam, point3.4).
However, Odor is a new major environmental problem. Due to rotten food, curry leaves, fruit peels, fish fibers and different type of waste creates
smell. It causes of environmental pollution. Now a days, odor pollution is not only experience in our life but also it is one of the major issue in the
environment pollution ( odor pollution, pg 1). Actually, we should not through the trash here and there. We should

Solution Of Environmental Pollution
Environment pollution is a wide–reaching problem. It is likely to influence the health of human population to a great extent. There has been an
increasing global concern over the public health impacts which are attributed to environmental pollution, particularly the global burden of disease.
According to the reports of WHO (World Health Organization), most of the diseases that are faced by the mankind today are due to a prolonged
exposure to environmental pollution. Environment pollution is a worldwide problem and its potential to influence the health of human populations is
great (Fereidoun et al, 2007; Progressive Insurance, 2005.). Many of the environmental related diseases may be acquired during the childhood itself and
may me manifested in the adulthood. These diseases may not be detected in the childhood.
There are many causes to environmental pollution. One of them is improper management of soil waste. It is one of the major causes of degradation in
the developing cities. Many cities do not have proper disposal facilities or sewage systems. Such disposal of wastes can be radioactive, toxic and very
infectious. Pollution, in simple terms, can be defined as contamination of the environment, bringing about adverse changes and effects to the ecosystem.
We normally observe that the municipal waste dumping sites are set aside for waste disposal somewhere outside the city. The waste management of
any city plays a vital role in this regard. Depending on the waste management

ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION
Automobiles like these are around the world everyday, and their exhaust destroys our air everyday.
Our environment is a major aspect of our life today. Many of us don't take our
Earth seriously and think that as long as pollution doesn't hurt them they can go ahead and throw garbage on the ground or spill oil down the drain.
Well to many people have that theory and they are killing offour Earth and also physically harming themselves from the air they breath and the water
they swim in. Our Earth is fragile like a human and people don't know. There are many different types ofenvironmental pollution (e.g. Water, air,
atmospheric.)
Scientists believe that all...show more content...
If this depletion opens up dangerous and deadly UV Rays from the sun will come into Earth. Air pollution causes global warming which scientist
believe is making the Earth warmer and melting ice up in the South and North
Pole. The country Holland has had water from the ocean got too high for them and flooded into towns. Holland spent millions of dollars to put up
"dikes" which are big barriers in the water to prevent their town to be completely submerged.
With the ocean getting deeper coastal cites all around the world could flood, billions of dollars would be spent to try to prevent it, but in a while it
could not be stopped. Instead of waiting and having to spend all this money why don't we put it together today and try different ways of preventing air
pollution, it would be much easier than all the trouble of stopping flooding.
Water pollution is another major aspect of environmental pollution.
Water pollution is scary because over 75% of our Earth is covered by the ocean.
Water pollution comes from many different sources around the world. One major pollutant that destroys the ocean is oil spills. The oil from an oil
spill kills hundreds of sea animals from fish, to whales, to birds. Below is a small list of just some of the major oil spills. Notice how many tons were
spilled into our ocean... Notable Oil Spills Date Location Description Tons

Pollutants are impacting aquatic organisms distributed by daily human activities and natural occurrences. An extensive amount of pollutants such as
pesticides, heavy metals, and hydrocarbons can result in direct significant damage, e.g. death. However lower levels of these harmful substances can be
stored in an organism and increase as it continues and follows up the food chain, a process called biomagnification or bioaccumulation, having the
greatest effect on the top predator of that food chain. A common result of the pollutants can lead to stress, changing of theimmune system, inhibit
lysozyme activity, damage gills, metabolism, and growth. Other factors include an excessive amount of nutrients in the environment. Nitrogen can
make its way into aquatic ecosystems when there is an increase in nitrous oxide in the air, allowing eutrophication. Algae and bacteria feed off the
nitrogen, so a high number of these organisms appear and use oxygen around them as the feed, causing hypoxic zones, or dead zones. Acidification, an
increase in the ecosystem's pH acidity from acid rain, which occurs from an increase in CO2 from air pollution. Aquatic organisms have a range of
tolerance, and water with high acidic pH will lead the organism out of the range of tolerance, resulting in stress of the organism, and eventually death.
Further studies are being pursuited to see larger impacts of globalized pollution on aquatic species and their ecosystems.

Depending on your environmental standpoint, the market could be the solution to our environmental problems or it could be what is causing them.
Using a market approach to solve environmental problems means employing tactics such as green taxes, green consumption, offsetting, cap and
trade policies, double dividends, and fixing how subsidies are distributed. Green taxes help companies to pay for the true cost of their activities,
"Pollution taxes or green taxes have been called 'corrective taxes' because they correct price distortions that result from a failure to include the full
cost of resource depletion or environmental destruction in the end price of a product or an industry's activity" (Good News For a Change, 302).
Examples of green taxes are landfill costs, toxic waste taxes, or carbon taxes. Denmark has tried their hand at a carbon tax on industry emissions,
they took money for the company's emissions and then returned the money back to said industry in order to help the industry invent ways to reduce
energy use in their production. Another example of a green tax is when "some municipalities have required households to dispose of all waste in
special trash bags, purchased by consumers themselves, and often costing a dollar or more each" (Environment and Society: Markets and Commodities,
39). Green consumption gives consumers the ability to choose desired environmental impact with their wallet. If a consumer is worried about carbon
emissions they can purchase products

Reduce, refuse, and recycle. The act of recycling is converting waste into reusable material that can be sold again. Our land and ocean life is
becoming jeopardized. Species that dwell inside our waters and soar high above are becoming vastly endangered. Humans are no longer accepting
responsibility for their actions of choking sea turtles and thousands of emancipated birds washing up on shores. Around the globe habit loss is not
uncommon. Rainforests are no longer flourishing. Overfishing is no longer uncommon which is causing sea birds to starve when migrating. Coral
reefs are decaying due to temperature changes in the water. Decades of manufacturing and mass consumerism has left the environment in an extremely
poor shape.
Several types of pollution coat the Earth in garbage, oils, smog, etc. Indoor air pollution consists of chemical cleaners, cigarette smoke and butts, car
and as well as factory exhaust. Exhaust and smoke release elements into the air that create smog, fog, and haze are created. When combined with
moisture in the air acid rain is then created. Natural disasters contribute to air pollution with volcanic eruption ash and sulfur dioxide. The burning of
fossil fuels, coal, and natural gas release carbon monoxide into the air. Greenhouse gases consist of high trace amounts of carbon dioxide and methane
which are the leading gases that contribute to Global Warming. Another effect of excess dioxide is ocean acidification. With more carbon dioxide in
the water fish suffocate due to the lack of oxygen. Chlorofluorocarbons are found in refrigerator cooling agents, foam products, and aerosol cans which
in excessive amounts damage the ozone layer. Indoor and outdoor air pollution is destructive in their own special chemical ways.
Noise pollution, although is not a physical form of pollution, is actually quite dangerous and lethal. Loud and disruptive noises in an area, construction
and airplanes taking off, disrupt natural neighborhood ecosystems. Near or city dwelling robins, for example, are unable to communicate or find food
in the presence of heavy noise pollution. Meanwhile near the coast sound waves produced by some noise pollutants can disrupt the sonar used by

People are likely to deny all the information, which they do not want to hear and to believe that it can concern anybody else but not him or her directly.
The problem of climate change is not the issue that can affect the humanity in one moment in the same way smoking does not kill the smoker from the
first day of addiction. However, the fact of the existence of the phenomenon remains undeniable, and every human makes his or her contribution to the
development of the issue, which can be both adverse and beneficial. Although it is reasonably believed that climate change is affected by the use of cars,
emissions from factories and the growing amount of garbage, there are hidden factors that encourage pollution and hurt the planet, including people's
growing passion for traveling, and even their diets on a par with the way of life.
With the flow of life, people affect the planet, which does not remain the same as it was hundreds of years ago. Different periods of history influence
climate change in different ways and while sometimes it happens faster like it was with the invention of machines and their implementation to the
industrial production, the other timespan demonstrates a slowed down pace. However, the fact of the influence of different kinds of pollution on the
planet should be nearly the most significant concern of the humanity since it is the reason for which the future life on the

Pollution
Pollution is the introduction of harmful substances or products into the environment. It is a major problem in America and as well as the world.
Pollution not only damages the environment, but damages us also. It has cause many problems ranging from lung cancer to the greenhouse effect. It is
all among us but we continue to live in our own filth. What is the reason behind this flawed logic? In this paper I will examine the problems and
solutions for this issue.
Automobiles are undeniable the greatest source of pollution. The noise pollution created by cars is immense. Another polluting effect of cars is the
heat it creates. This heat makes it unpleasant to be near the car while its running. And of course the most famous...show more content...
American citizens throw away millions of tons of garbage each year, and this trash has to go somewhere. While there are projects underway to clean
and reuse this refuse most of it gets dumped into huge landfills. These landfills are disgusting festering blisters on our country's landscape. But people
continue to consume and throw away more and more in the name of convenience. As they see it, when things get old, throw it away and get a new one.
They blame the government for the trash problem, but the truth blame should be placed on themselves.
The last great source of pollution lays in the businesses. Although not common, businesses have been known to dump their waste products into streams,
lakes, and rivers. This may seem like a relatively small occurrence that really is not your concern, but you're wrong. Each time one of these companies
pollutes there are horrible consequences to pay. Mutations, destroyed ecosystems, and human death have all occurred as a direct result of illegal
dumping. It contaminates our drinking water and soil. It causes entire communities of humans (not to mention animals) to move on to new places not
to return for at least a century. The pollutants dumped by industry are so concentrated that a single barrel can destroy an entire lake's ecosystem. Not
only do companies dump chemicals, but also hot water. This hot water kills most life it comes into contact with, but also causes an overgrowth

II. Introduction
When many people throw away their trash do they ever consider where it might end up? No matter where someone deposits their trash it almost
always ends up in the same place. Depending on if their trash ends in the proper disposal area. For many people, it can be an easy task to throw away
their trash and never think twice about it. Does one ever consider the journey of the so–called trash? The trash can end up in a landfill or even range to
the ocean. Waste disposal is an important environmental issue at hand. Without a major change, it can hurt the earth and the people who live on the
planet and even the environment. What many people fail to realize is the effect that they have on the planet. If they don't take care of it...show more

Not disposing of a broken cell phone the right way has many negative effects. It can create many environmental problems. Electronic trash is
becoming more and more a bigger threat every day. A phone is filled with so many toxins just like any other electronic device. When it makes its way
to a landfill the materials that these electronic devices are made out of can potentially leak. With that in mind. It can cause a whole bunch of problems
for the ecosystem, plant life, animals, and even the food supplies. Which will end up causing way more problems than the everyday person needs?
Electronics are not the only type of waste that causes a major problem. There is a liquid waste, solid waste, hazardous waste, organic waste and
recyclable waste. Not all waste is harmful, but it depends on if they can be or are disposed of correctly. Liquid waste can be classified from water
wash to liquid cleaning products. Solid wastes can be just normal rubbish such as newspapers, old tires, food waste and even broken furniture.
Hazardous is waste that can be threatening to the public and or the environment. Hazardous waste can range from reactive, toxic, inflammable, and
corrosive. Some examples of these are equipment that contains mercury, batteries, pesticides, and lamps. Some waste can be disposed of by
incineration or having a designated piece of land such as landfill to dispose of the waste (Common types of waste with examples). But these methods

Global warming is caused by human activity. This global warming in turn, causes hurricanes. The hurricanes will destroy the human population main
resources. This will lower people into having less important resources such as: food, shelter and water. Having less resources could lead to poverty,
which is known in developing countries such as: India, Philippines, and Haiti . There are also changes in the oceans that are being affected. This
change occurring could lead to the ocean over flooding due to contaminating the ocean caused by humans because humans have an impact on the
environment. Humanity needs to cut down the production in the coal industry because people are burning the coal; this is causing the coal to pollute
the air people breath.
To avoid the problem of deforestation, people should stop cutting down the trees in the forest. The cutting of the trees is causing deforestation, the trees
are a helpful resource in the environment. According to an article by Struck states, "Experts say deforestation threatens a delicate balance in which
forests act as Earth's lungs: absorbing carbon dioxide – the biggest contributor to climate change – and expelling oxygen" (29). This effect is causing
more of the air to become contaminated by carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is a harmful gas that is released into the air. The trees helps keep down
the carbon dioxide in the air; this releases oxygen, so we can breathe clean air. As the trees are being cut in the forest it releases

Environmental Pollution In The US Today
Earth, home to the beauty of blue skies and clear waters, and bearer of each delicate life form, from the moss floating atop rivers, to the lions that
prowl the mesa deserts; however, Earth is also home to the most destructive life form, humans. People reap the fruit of the Earth and bask in the beauty
of nature, yet for generations, the efforts to protect the environment have only declined. The pollution that is wrought upon the environment every day
is too often ignored for "more important" issues, such as poverty or crime; however, protecting the literal soil that people dwell on is just as vital as
patrolling the society in which they live. Environmental pollution is a growing issue in the U.S. today, caused primarily by the lack of public concern
or caution, harmful chemicals used by manufacturers and farmers, and lack of government enforcement or intervention. To begin with, the energy
wasted out of pure negligence while performing daily tasks and activities wreaks havoc on the environment, greatly contributing to this issue.
Fortunately, more often than not, excessive waste can easily be avoided altogether by being conscious of what is necessary, and what's just luxury.
However, the extra couple of seconds that it takes to flip off a light switch or turn down a faucet often proves to be too inconvenient of a task for
many individuals. By far, unnecessary use of electricity is the biggest energy waster among the general population. While one may believe they don't

Earth Pollution Essay
The earth is 4.543 billion years old, our ancestors are estimated to date back to six million years, with modern human life dating back to 200,000 years
ago (Reed). The effects of humanity on earth can be displayed by the increase of pollution within our ecosphere. As our population continues to
increase, so does our carbon footprint upon the earth. On a more localized scale, the Central Valley is a mecca of poor air quality and elevating
pollution levels. An assortment of environmental factors increases these pollution levels. The Central Valley is a hub for the climate, natural, industrial,
mobile, and agricultural components that equate to this growing pollution problem.
Pollution, otherwise known as PM, or particulate matter, which is essentially any substance that is not made up of water. PM is most commonly
made of dust, ash, smoke, fumes, vapors and mists, emitted from a source and absorbed into the ozone. Particulate matter that is produced directly
from a source, is called primary PM. Particulate matter that is formed in the atmosphere, by gas, is called secondary PM. There are two certified
health based standards, classifying particulate matter: PM10, for particles smaller than 10 microns, and PM2.5, for particles smaller than 2.5.
Common PM10 is made up of more course particles, sources include: crushing or grinding operations, soil stirred up in our valley's vast fields, and
dirt roads. PM2.5 is composed of finer particles created by elements most commonly

Water Pollution Essay: Saving The Environment
Sometimes it is forgotten in daily life how important the world around us actually is. The water we drink, the air we breathe, and the land we live on
is all we have. The problem though is a lot of business owners forget that when they are developing kickbacks or loopholes to bypass laws that protect
the environment and in doing so is saving them copious amounts of money. By accomplishing this, it is ruining the one thing that grants us prosperity
and life, the Earth. In a public remark, by former president Bill Clinton, he had this to say, "...Creating thriving companies and new jobs doesn't have to
come at the expense of the air we breathe, the water we drink... or the natural landscape in which we live." Although industrialization is great for the
economic growth and development for a country, this can also be harmful for the environment itself. One of the most common issues with businesses
and the environment is the disposal of waste. Not only do communities itself make an immense amount of waste, but also corporations that manufacture
certain products or goods. Due to the costs certain companies accrue from environmental laws, companies often times find more efficient and cost
effective ways to produce their goods, but this also lays waste to an extreme amount of byproducts that tarnish our environment. Most of these
byproducts are also being burned at waste disposal sites that create air pollution and in turn pollutes our water supply and land. The problem in most

developing a product or plan to improve the quality of their life. In fact, environmental protection has dated back to the beginning of ancient
civilizations and has continued to be an important concept in today's society. George Perkins Marsh, an American diplomat and philologist, drafted a
book titled Man and Nature. In his writings, he explained the downfall of many ancient civilizations was caused by environmental abuse. From
deforesting hillsides to eroding their soils, many of the early civilizations destroyed their natural fertility. As we look back in history, it is important
that we learn from our mistakes. The Civilian Conservation Corps, created in 1933, was developed as a public relief group, targeted for single,
unemployed men. As part of FDR's

Abstract On Environmental Pollution
Abstract
Environmental pollution is anything that can cause harm to the environment. Pollution is any undesired alteration of the environment and is often
caused by human activities (Mader, 2016, pg. 552). Types of human pollution would be air, water, soil, radioactive, thermal, noise, and light. Each of
these forms of pollution has been known to cause the enormous amount of concern for the environment. There are laws in place now that are limiting
pollution and to help control the issue. Environmental pollution is a serious problem we are facing globally. It is the debate concerning pollution,
which we have been pondering for the past century. Prior to the industrial revolution, scientists thought that the atmosphere was untouched by
man–made pollutants until they found air bubbles hidden in the core of Greenland's ice shelf (Stromberg). After finding this essential development,
scientist began to reconsider the initial cause of pollution and how to decrease the lasting effects of it. With this discovery, pollution was traced back
to Ancient Rome and it was decided that globally we needed a new approach for dealing with this problem. There are numerous types of pollution and
they each have a devastating effect on the global climate. A scientist has been working on ways to re–direct the negative effects of pollution and at the
same time encourage people to try to find ways to do that part to help with this effort. We all can find some way to improve the world and decrease
pollution.
The problems with air pollution seem to be one of the largest most discussed situations. The Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC) air pollution
is the release of pollutants into the air that is damaging human health and world. There are many forms of air pollution and smog and soot are two of
them. These two are discussed more when dissecting this problem due to them being the most common forms of air position, which are also the most
detrimental of them all. When the sunlight and emissions from fossil fuels interact that is how smog is created. The creation of soot formed from
smoke, dust, allergens and other particles are spread throughout the air in gas or solid form. Methane is also a huge component of the

Our environment is affected by our daily actions. The earth is plagued with land, air and water pollution. Some of the problems we face on earth are:
deforestation, nuclear waste, acid rain, global warming, overpopulation and some animals are endangered. Air pollution has many different sources.
Power–generated plants, oil refineries, chemical plants, and steel mills contribute to about 140 million tons of pollutants into the air every year.
Automobiles account for at least 80 percent, of air pollution; the heaviest polluter. Another type of air pollution is acid rain. Acid rain is formed when
sulfur and nitrogen are distributed from factories, automobiles and power plants. The sulfur and...show more content...
Solid waste such as tires, diapers and plastics are buried in landfills each year. It takes generations for them to decompose. Today, there are laws that
penalize manufacturing plants that dispose hazardous wastes. These plants dump these hazardous materials in nearby woods or dump them into
streams (this practice was common fifty years ago). We need rain forests for survival. Rain forests pump freshoxygen into the atmosphere, protect soil
from erosion and absorb carbon dioxide. Rain forests cover 4.5 billion acres and accounts for 7 percent of the earth's land. The Amazon in Brazil
is the largest rain forest (2 million acres). The fate of today's rain forest is in trouble. A process called deforestation is the leading problem.
Deforestation is the process of cutting down forests to use the land for farming and grazing cattle. Farmers "slash and burn" forest turning them into
desert land. Brazil promised to implement laws that were tougher to protect the Amazon. These laws cut deforestation in half. By 1994, the burning
started again and in 1996 the burning was at it's worst. The ozone layer blocks harmful ultraviolet rays, that comes from the sun. Chemicals released
from the earth are depleting the ozone layer. Skin cancer is on the rise as a result of the depletion of the ozone layer. Scientist states that every 1
percent of depletion of the ozone layer, the rate of skin cancer will rise 5

As trees are natural purifiers of air, deforestation worsens the problem of pollution.
With the development of trade and business there has been a corresponding increase in the transportation system. With the building up of vast network
of roads in almost every country, the number of vehicles has increased many times. Buses, trucks, cars, two–wheelers, and many other types of vehicles
that run on petrol or diesel give out huge quantity of smoke in the air every day.
These smokes contain many harmful chemicals and vitiate the air. Big cities have been the most affected by air pollution because of presence of
large number vehicles. The air in the metropolitan cities of Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai is so much polluted that many people suffer from
diseases like asthma, cancer, eye burning, skin rashes, etc. Another major cause of air pollution is the burning of wood and coal in household for
cooking. The LPG gas is available in cities and towns. In rural areas, wood, coal and kerosene are the only source to make fire and cook food. The
rural hearths are therefore another cause of air pollution. The problem is worsened with the fact that trees are being cut to get fire

The effects of Air pollution
Environmental pollution is the key concern for the humanity. It does not have any borders each member of our planet is affected by its devastating
effects. Air pollution is the main factor contributing to general environmental problems. It is the emission of particulates, harmful materials, and
biological molecules in the Earth's atmosphere and is caused by both human and natural factors. The effects of air pollution are shocking. It causes
numerous diseases in human organisms, animals, natural crops, ruins the balance of the environmental system, and even causes deaths. Air pollution is
the largest environmental pollution risk factor. According to the research of World Health Organization,

The negative effect on human health also affects the central nervous system. The studies confirmed that an early exposure of children to the higher
levels of air pollution have the same negative effects on the central nervous system as autism spectrum disorder and schizophrenia. Low and middle
income countries in the South East Asia and Western Pacific Regions have the highest mortality rate due to air contamination problems. Specifically in
this region, World Health Organization attributes approximately 3.3 million deaths to indoor and 2.6 million deaths to outdoor air pollution annually.
"The most polluted country is India. It has the highest mortality rate due to air pollution. Most deaths in India are caused by asthma. Another seriously
affected country is China." The report of World Health Organization states that air pollution killed more than 500,000 people in China in 2014. The
calculations performed by the European Commission show that polluted air reduces the life expectancy in EU by more than nine months. The worst
situation is in Benelux and Italy.
The research of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health revealed that even a small exposure to the polluted air during pregnancy results
in pregnancy complications. And long term health problems of the future children. The fetus is extremely sensitive to environmental factors. "The
study concluded that the greater the exposure of the pregnant woman to the air pollution is, the higher

Essay On Environmental Pollution
The environmental issue I choose is pollution. There is different types of pollution. There is water pollution, air pollution, soil pollution, thermal
pollution, radioactive pollution, noise pollution, and light pollution. Every type of pollution is bad and it is causing health issues and even worst, deaths.
Pollution is A very serious subject that is harmful to people and the environment. It is killing A lot of people. 4.6 million people die each year from
pollution. Each year 1.2 trillion gallons of untreated sewage, stormwater, and industrial waste are dumped into US water.Pollution is one of the most
biggest global killers affecting over 100 million people. Over 1 million seabirds and 100,000 sea mammals are killed by pollution every year.
Approximately 40% of lakes in America are too polluted for fishing, aquatic life, or swimming. Pollution occurs when pollutants contaminate the
natural surroundings. Pollution disturbs our ecosystem. Air Pollution is the most dangerous forms of pollution. It occurs due to many of reasons,
excessive burning of fuel, cooking, driving and other types of activities that are similar. They release A huge amount of chemical substances in the air
everyday; these pollute the air. Also smoke from chimneys, factories, vehicles or burning basically occurs due to coal burning. Air pollution is
breaking down our ozone layer. There is different types of pollution but environmental pollution has been around for centuries and it is affecting the
environment. People should care about this topic because pollution is a serious problem and it causes many deaths and illnesses.
The worst types of pollution are air pollution and water pollution, they don't only harm our environment but also our health. It's really scary to think
about because around 15,000 people in the world each day die because of water pollution and 2.4 million people in the world die each year because of
air pollution. So this is a big environmental issue. The causes of water pollution is water and sewage waste. World population is increasing each year.
This is causing huge environmental and health damage. Most water pollution doesn't begin in the water it starts with what stuff filters and enters
through the water.

Importance Of Environment Pollution Essay

  • 1. Importance Of Environment Pollution Essay Most.Wahida Nahid Id: 160260 (Topaz) Faculty: John Remarek. Subject: Lang and com (Expository essay) Date: 03–11–2017 "Environment pollution"Environment pollution is a much familiar topic in the present time. We are deeply related to environment pollution. It is the biggest problem in Bangladesh even the world. The environment is refers everything in our surroundings. It means air, water, soil, people, plants and animals etc and also the natural forces and climate make up the environment. All these thing are related together. The system is in a steady state of dynamic balance. If the relationship is disrupted, it...show more content... For example, we use to take birth, use for cows birth, for cleaning dishes and we use that water to drink. Sometime we through the waste and ointment in the water. As a result we are creating water pollution. According to the data compiled by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), "approximately 1.4 billion lbs of trash is dumped in the oceans every year". So, water is being polluted. If water is polluted it effects on our environment and make environment pollution as well. So we should not use same water for whole work. At least, our goal should be to avoid water pollution. Thirdly, we are familiar with sound pollution. Urban life is full of different type of machines, germents factories, metal works and different type of vehicles. Those are creating a lot amount of sound which is harmful for our ear, heart and health. As a result, People can be heart attck and deaf forever. Sometimes it inhance blood pressure and create headache and peptic ulcer (Alam, point3.4). However, Odor is a new major environmental problem. Due to rotten food, curry leaves, fruit peels, fish fibers and different type of waste creates smell. It causes of environmental pollution. Now a days, odor pollution is not only experience in our life but also it is one of the major issue in the environment pollution ( odor pollution, pg 1). Actually, we should not through the trash here and there. We should Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Solution Of Environmental Pollution Environment pollution is a wide–reaching problem. It is likely to influence the health of human population to a great extent. There has been an increasing global concern over the public health impacts which are attributed to environmental pollution, particularly the global burden of disease. According to the reports of WHO (World Health Organization), most of the diseases that are faced by the mankind today are due to a prolonged exposure to environmental pollution. Environment pollution is a worldwide problem and its potential to influence the health of human populations is great (Fereidoun et al, 2007; Progressive Insurance, 2005.). Many of the environmental related diseases may be acquired during the childhood itself and may me manifested in the adulthood. These diseases may not be detected in the childhood. There are many causes to environmental pollution. One of them is improper management of soil waste. It is one of the major causes of degradation in the developing cities. Many cities do not have proper disposal facilities or sewage systems. Such disposal of wastes can be radioactive, toxic and very infectious. Pollution, in simple terms, can be defined as contamination of the environment, bringing about adverse changes and effects to the ecosystem. We normally observe that the municipal waste dumping sites are set aside for waste disposal somewhere outside the city. The waste management of any city plays a vital role in this regard. Depending on the waste management Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Environmental Pollution Essay Environmental Pollution ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION Automobiles like these are around the world everyday, and their exhaust destroys our air everyday. Our environment is a major aspect of our life today. Many of us don't take our Earth seriously and think that as long as pollution doesn't hurt them they can go ahead and throw garbage on the ground or spill oil down the drain. Well to many people have that theory and they are killing offour Earth and also physically harming themselves from the air they breath and the water they swim in. Our Earth is fragile like a human and people don't know. There are many different types ofenvironmental pollution (e.g. Water, air, atmospheric.) Scientists believe that all...show more content... If this depletion opens up dangerous and deadly UV Rays from the sun will come into Earth. Air pollution causes global warming which scientist believe is making the Earth warmer and melting ice up in the South and North Pole. The country Holland has had water from the ocean got too high for them and flooded into towns. Holland spent millions of dollars to put up "dikes" which are big barriers in the water to prevent their town to be completely submerged. With the ocean getting deeper coastal cites all around the world could flood, billions of dollars would be spent to try to prevent it, but in a while it could not be stopped. Instead of waiting and having to spend all this money why don't we put it together today and try different ways of preventing air pollution, it would be much easier than all the trouble of stopping flooding. Water pollution is another major aspect of environmental pollution. Water pollution is scary because over 75% of our Earth is covered by the ocean. Water pollution comes from many different sources around the world. One major pollutant that destroys the ocean is oil spills. The oil from an oil spill kills hundreds of sea animals from fish, to whales, to birds. Below is a small list of just some of the major oil spills. Notice how many tons were spilled into our ocean... Notable Oil Spills Date Location Description Tons

  • 5. Essay On Environmental Pollution Pollutants are impacting aquatic organisms distributed by daily human activities and natural occurrences. An extensive amount of pollutants such as pesticides, heavy metals, and hydrocarbons can result in direct significant damage, e.g. death. However lower levels of these harmful substances can be stored in an organism and increase as it continues and follows up the food chain, a process called biomagnification or bioaccumulation, having the greatest effect on the top predator of that food chain. A common result of the pollutants can lead to stress, changing of theimmune system, inhibit lysozyme activity, damage gills, metabolism, and growth. Other factors include an excessive amount of nutrients in the environment. Nitrogen can make its way into aquatic ecosystems when there is an increase in nitrous oxide in the air, allowing eutrophication. Algae and bacteria feed off the nitrogen, so a high number of these organisms appear and use oxygen around them as the feed, causing hypoxic zones, or dead zones. Acidification, an increase in the ecosystem's pH acidity from acid rain, which occurs from an increase in CO2 from air pollution. Aquatic organisms have a range of tolerance, and water with high acidic pH will lead the organism out of the range of tolerance, resulting in stress of the organism, and eventually death. Further studies are being pursuited to see larger impacts of globalized pollution on aquatic species and their ecosystems. Keywords: Pollutants, pesticides, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Environmental Pollutions Depending on your environmental standpoint, the market could be the solution to our environmental problems or it could be what is causing them. Using a market approach to solve environmental problems means employing tactics such as green taxes, green consumption, offsetting, cap and trade policies, double dividends, and fixing how subsidies are distributed. Green taxes help companies to pay for the true cost of their activities, "Pollution taxes or green taxes have been called 'corrective taxes' because they correct price distortions that result from a failure to include the full cost of resource depletion or environmental destruction in the end price of a product or an industry's activity" (Good News For a Change, 302). Examples of green taxes are landfill costs, toxic waste taxes, or carbon taxes. Denmark has tried their hand at a carbon tax on industry emissions, they took money for the company's emissions and then returned the money back to said industry in order to help the industry invent ways to reduce energy use in their production. Another example of a green tax is when "some municipalities have required households to dispose of all waste in special trash bags, purchased by consumers themselves, and often costing a dollar or more each" (Environment and Society: Markets and Commodities, 39). Green consumption gives consumers the ability to choose desired environmental impact with their wallet. If a consumer is worried about carbon emissions they can purchase products Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Environmental Pollution Essay Reduce, refuse, and recycle. The act of recycling is converting waste into reusable material that can be sold again. Our land and ocean life is becoming jeopardized. Species that dwell inside our waters and soar high above are becoming vastly endangered. Humans are no longer accepting responsibility for their actions of choking sea turtles and thousands of emancipated birds washing up on shores. Around the globe habit loss is not uncommon. Rainforests are no longer flourishing. Overfishing is no longer uncommon which is causing sea birds to starve when migrating. Coral reefs are decaying due to temperature changes in the water. Decades of manufacturing and mass consumerism has left the environment in an extremely poor shape. Several types of pollution coat the Earth in garbage, oils, smog, etc. Indoor air pollution consists of chemical cleaners, cigarette smoke and butts, car and as well as factory exhaust. Exhaust and smoke release elements into the air that create smog, fog, and haze are created. When combined with moisture in the air acid rain is then created. Natural disasters contribute to air pollution with volcanic eruption ash and sulfur dioxide. The burning of fossil fuels, coal, and natural gas release carbon monoxide into the air. Greenhouse gases consist of high trace amounts of carbon dioxide and methane which are the leading gases that contribute to Global Warming. Another effect of excess dioxide is ocean acidification. With more carbon dioxide in the water fish suffocate due to the lack of oxygen. Chlorofluorocarbons are found in refrigerator cooling agents, foam products, and aerosol cans which in excessive amounts damage the ozone layer. Indoor and outdoor air pollution is destructive in their own special chemical ways. Noise pollution, although is not a physical form of pollution, is actually quite dangerous and lethal. Loud and disruptive noises in an area, construction and airplanes taking off, disrupt natural neighborhood ecosystems. Near or city dwelling robins, for example, are unable to communicate or find food in the presence of heavy noise pollution. Meanwhile near the coast sound waves produced by some noise pollutants can disrupt the sonar used by Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Essay On Environmental Pollution Javier Herrera Daramola English 1302 25 December 2017 Environmental Pollution People are likely to deny all the information, which they do not want to hear and to believe that it can concern anybody else but not him or her directly. The problem of climate change is not the issue that can affect the humanity in one moment in the same way smoking does not kill the smoker from the first day of addiction. However, the fact of the existence of the phenomenon remains undeniable, and every human makes his or her contribution to the development of the issue, which can be both adverse and beneficial. Although it is reasonably believed that climate change is affected by the use of cars, emissions from factories and the growing amount of garbage, there are hidden factors that encourage pollution and hurt the planet, including people's growing passion for traveling, and even their diets on a par with the way of life. With the flow of life, people affect the planet, which does not remain the same as it was hundreds of years ago. Different periods of history influence climate change in different ways and while sometimes it happens faster like it was with the invention of machines and their implementation to the industrial production, the other timespan demonstrates a slowed down pace. However, the fact of the influence of different kinds of pollution on the planet should be nearly the most significant concern of the humanity since it is the reason for which the future life on the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Essay about Pollution Pollution Pollution is the introduction of harmful substances or products into the environment. It is a major problem in America and as well as the world. Pollution not only damages the environment, but damages us also. It has cause many problems ranging from lung cancer to the greenhouse effect. It is all among us but we continue to live in our own filth. What is the reason behind this flawed logic? In this paper I will examine the problems and solutions for this issue. Automobiles are undeniable the greatest source of pollution. The noise pollution created by cars is immense. Another polluting effect of cars is the heat it creates. This heat makes it unpleasant to be near the car while its running. And of course the most famous...show more content... American citizens throw away millions of tons of garbage each year, and this trash has to go somewhere. While there are projects underway to clean and reuse this refuse most of it gets dumped into huge landfills. These landfills are disgusting festering blisters on our country's landscape. But people continue to consume and throw away more and more in the name of convenience. As they see it, when things get old, throw it away and get a new one. They blame the government for the trash problem, but the truth blame should be placed on themselves. The last great source of pollution lays in the businesses. Although not common, businesses have been known to dump their waste products into streams, lakes, and rivers. This may seem like a relatively small occurrence that really is not your concern, but you're wrong. Each time one of these companies pollutes there are horrible consequences to pay. Mutations, destroyed ecosystems, and human death have all occurred as a direct result of illegal dumping. It contaminates our drinking water and soil. It causes entire communities of humans (not to mention animals) to move on to new places not to return for at least a century. The pollutants dumped by industry are so concentrated that a single barrel can destroy an entire lake's ecosystem. Not only do companies dump chemicals, but also hot water. This hot water kills most life it comes into contact with, but also causes an overgrowth Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. II. Introduction When many people throw away their trash do they ever consider where it might end up? No matter where someone deposits their trash it almost always ends up in the same place. Depending on if their trash ends in the proper disposal area. For many people, it can be an easy task to throw away their trash and never think twice about it. Does one ever consider the journey of the so–called trash? The trash can end up in a landfill or even range to the ocean. Waste disposal is an important environmental issue at hand. Without a major change, it can hurt the earth and the people who live on the planet and even the environment. What many people fail to realize is the effect that they have on the planet. If they don't take care of it...show more content... Not disposing of a broken cell phone the right way has many negative effects. It can create many environmental problems. Electronic trash is becoming more and more a bigger threat every day. A phone is filled with so many toxins just like any other electronic device. When it makes its way to a landfill the materials that these electronic devices are made out of can potentially leak. With that in mind. It can cause a whole bunch of problems for the ecosystem, plant life, animals, and even the food supplies. Which will end up causing way more problems than the everyday person needs? Electronics are not the only type of waste that causes a major problem. There is a liquid waste, solid waste, hazardous waste, organic waste and recyclable waste. Not all waste is harmful, but it depends on if they can be or are disposed of correctly. Liquid waste can be classified from water wash to liquid cleaning products. Solid wastes can be just normal rubbish such as newspapers, old tires, food waste and even broken furniture. Hazardous is waste that can be threatening to the public and or the environment. Hazardous waste can range from reactive, toxic, inflammable, and corrosive. Some examples of these are equipment that contains mercury, batteries, pesticides, and lamps. Some waste can be disposed of by incineration or having a designated piece of land such as landfill to dispose of the waste (Common types of waste with examples). But these methods do offer many Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. Environmental Pollution Essay Global warming is caused by human activity. This global warming in turn, causes hurricanes. The hurricanes will destroy the human population main resources. This will lower people into having less important resources such as: food, shelter and water. Having less resources could lead to poverty, which is known in developing countries such as: India, Philippines, and Haiti . There are also changes in the oceans that are being affected. This change occurring could lead to the ocean over flooding due to contaminating the ocean caused by humans because humans have an impact on the environment. Humanity needs to cut down the production in the coal industry because people are burning the coal; this is causing the coal to pollute the air people breath. To avoid the problem of deforestation, people should stop cutting down the trees in the forest. The cutting of the trees is causing deforestation, the trees are a helpful resource in the environment. According to an article by Struck states, "Experts say deforestation threatens a delicate balance in which forests act as Earth's lungs: absorbing carbon dioxide – the biggest contributor to climate change – and expelling oxygen" (29). This effect is causing more of the air to become contaminated by carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is a harmful gas that is released into the air. The trees helps keep down the carbon dioxide in the air; this releases oxygen, so we can breathe clean air. As the trees are being cut in the forest it releases Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Environmental Pollution In The US Today Earth, home to the beauty of blue skies and clear waters, and bearer of each delicate life form, from the moss floating atop rivers, to the lions that prowl the mesa deserts; however, Earth is also home to the most destructive life form, humans. People reap the fruit of the Earth and bask in the beauty of nature, yet for generations, the efforts to protect the environment have only declined. The pollution that is wrought upon the environment every day is too often ignored for "more important" issues, such as poverty or crime; however, protecting the literal soil that people dwell on is just as vital as patrolling the society in which they live. Environmental pollution is a growing issue in the U.S. today, caused primarily by the lack of public concern or caution, harmful chemicals used by manufacturers and farmers, and lack of government enforcement or intervention. To begin with, the energy wasted out of pure negligence while performing daily tasks and activities wreaks havoc on the environment, greatly contributing to this issue. Fortunately, more often than not, excessive waste can easily be avoided altogether by being conscious of what is necessary, and what's just luxury. However, the extra couple of seconds that it takes to flip off a light switch or turn down a faucet often proves to be too inconvenient of a task for many individuals. By far, unnecessary use of electricity is the biggest energy waster among the general population. While one may believe they don't Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Earth Pollution Essay The earth is 4.543 billion years old, our ancestors are estimated to date back to six million years, with modern human life dating back to 200,000 years ago (Reed). The effects of humanity on earth can be displayed by the increase of pollution within our ecosphere. As our population continues to increase, so does our carbon footprint upon the earth. On a more localized scale, the Central Valley is a mecca of poor air quality and elevating pollution levels. An assortment of environmental factors increases these pollution levels. The Central Valley is a hub for the climate, natural, industrial, mobile, and agricultural components that equate to this growing pollution problem. Pollution, otherwise known as PM, or particulate matter, which is essentially any substance that is not made up of water. PM is most commonly made of dust, ash, smoke, fumes, vapors and mists, emitted from a source and absorbed into the ozone. Particulate matter that is produced directly from a source, is called primary PM. Particulate matter that is formed in the atmosphere, by gas, is called secondary PM. There are two certified health based standards, classifying particulate matter: PM10, for particles smaller than 10 microns, and PM2.5, for particles smaller than 2.5. Common PM10 is made up of more course particles, sources include: crushing or grinding operations, soil stirred up in our valley's vast fields, and dirt roads. PM2.5 is composed of finer particles created by elements most commonly Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. Water Pollution Essay: Saving The Environment Sometimes it is forgotten in daily life how important the world around us actually is. The water we drink, the air we breathe, and the land we live on is all we have. The problem though is a lot of business owners forget that when they are developing kickbacks or loopholes to bypass laws that protect the environment and in doing so is saving them copious amounts of money. By accomplishing this, it is ruining the one thing that grants us prosperity and life, the Earth. In a public remark, by former president Bill Clinton, he had this to say, "...Creating thriving companies and new jobs doesn't have to come at the expense of the air we breathe, the water we drink... or the natural landscape in which we live." Although industrialization is great for the economic growth and development for a country, this can also be harmful for the environment itself. One of the most common issues with businesses and the environment is the disposal of waste. Not only do communities itself make an immense amount of waste, but also corporations that manufacture certain products or goods. Due to the costs certain companies accrue from environmental laws, companies often times find more efficient and cost effective ways to produce their goods, but this also lays waste to an extreme amount of byproducts that tarnish our environment. Most of these byproducts are also being burned at waste disposal sites that create air pollution and in turn pollutes our water supply and land. The problem in most Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. Environmental Pollution Essay "Pollution is nothing but the resources we are not harvesting. We allow them to be dispersed because we have been ignorant of their value." – R. Buckminster Fuller. A bus company in Great Britain has taken this quote into full effect. The Bath Bus Company has created a first ever "Bio –Bus" and will transfer its passengers between the Bath and Bristol Airport. This 40–seat bus runs completely on biomethane gas which is generated through food waste and human waste. This bus fills two needs: transporting passengers and improving air quality. Byrecycling an undesirable product, this bus company has created something that improves their society (Pollution Control). There are many more examples of countries and communities developing a product or plan to improve the quality of their life. In fact, environmental protection has dated back to the beginning of ancient civilizations and has continued to be an important concept in today's society. George Perkins Marsh, an American diplomat and philologist, drafted a book titled Man and Nature. In his writings, he explained the downfall of many ancient civilizations was caused by environmental abuse. From deforesting hillsides to eroding their soils, many of the early civilizations destroyed their natural fertility. As we look back in history, it is important that we learn from our mistakes. The Civilian Conservation Corps, created in 1933, was developed as a public relief group, targeted for single, unemployed men. As part of FDR's Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Abstract On Environmental Pollution Abstract Environmental pollution is anything that can cause harm to the environment. Pollution is any undesired alteration of the environment and is often caused by human activities (Mader, 2016, pg. 552). Types of human pollution would be air, water, soil, radioactive, thermal, noise, and light. Each of these forms of pollution has been known to cause the enormous amount of concern for the environment. There are laws in place now that are limiting pollution and to help control the issue. Environmental pollution is a serious problem we are facing globally. It is the debate concerning pollution, which we have been pondering for the past century. Prior to the industrial revolution, scientists thought that the atmosphere was untouched by man–made pollutants until they found air bubbles hidden in the core of Greenland's ice shelf (Stromberg). After finding this essential development, scientist began to reconsider the initial cause of pollution and how to decrease the lasting effects of it. With this discovery, pollution was traced back to Ancient Rome and it was decided that globally we needed a new approach for dealing with this problem. There are numerous types of pollution and they each have a devastating effect on the global climate. A scientist has been working on ways to re–direct the negative effects of pollution and at the same time encourage people to try to find ways to do that part to help with this effort. We all can find some way to improve the world and decrease pollution. The problems with air pollution seem to be one of the largest most discussed situations. The Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC) air pollution is the release of pollutants into the air that is damaging human health and world. There are many forms of air pollution and smog and soot are two of them. These two are discussed more when dissecting this problem due to them being the most common forms of air position, which are also the most detrimental of them all. When the sunlight and emissions from fossil fuels interact that is how smog is created. The creation of soot formed from smoke, dust, allergens and other particles are spread throughout the air in gas or solid form. Methane is also a huge component of the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Environmental Pollution Essays Environmental Pollution Our environment is affected by our daily actions. The earth is plagued with land, air and water pollution. Some of the problems we face on earth are: deforestation, nuclear waste, acid rain, global warming, overpopulation and some animals are endangered. Acid rain is formed when sulfur and nitrogen are distributed from factories, automobiles and power plants. The sulfur and...show more content... Solid waste such as tires, diapers and plastics are buried in landfills each year. It takes generations for them to decompose. Today, there are laws that penalize manufacturing plants that dispose hazardous wastes. These plants dump these hazardous materials in nearby woods or dump them into streams (this practice was common fifty years ago). We need rain forests for survival. Rain forests pump freshoxygen into the atmosphere, protect soil from erosion and absorb carbon dioxide. Rain forests cover 4.5 billion acres and accounts for 7 percent of the earth's land. The Amazon in Brazil is the largest rain forest (2 million acres). The fate of today's rain forest is in trouble. A process called deforestation is the leading problem. Deforestation is the process of cutting down forests to use the land for farming and grazing cattle. Farmers "slash and burn" forest turning them into desert land. Brazil promised to implement laws that were tougher to protect the Amazon. These laws cut deforestation in half. By 1994, the burning started again and in 1996 the burning was at it's worst. The ozone layer blocks harmful ultraviolet rays, that comes from the sun. Chemicals released from the earth are depleting the ozone layer. Skin cancer is on the rise as a result of the depletion of the ozone layer. Scientist states that every 1 percent of depletion of the ozone layer, the rate of skin cancer will rise 5 Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. In a broader term environment means everything that surrounds us. It includes living or biotic life, e.g. plants and animals and non–living or biotic components like air, water and soil. Environmental pollution refers to degradation of air and water by mixing of harmful and undesirable pollutants in them. Today, pollution has become the biggest global problem because it has grown in magnitude and threatens to endanger all life on the living planet. As a matter of fact the gravity of situation created by pollution worldwide has been voiced at many national and international levels by various dignitaries and organisations to emphasise the need to realise the problem in all its seriousness and take whatever measures necessary in all earnest....show more content... As trees are natural purifiers of air, deforestation worsens the problem of pollution. With the development of trade and business there has been a corresponding increase in the transportation system. With the building up of vast network of roads in almost every country, the number of vehicles has increased many times. Buses, trucks, cars, two–wheelers, and many other types of vehicles that run on petrol or diesel give out huge quantity of smoke in the air every day. These smokes contain many harmful chemicals and vitiate the air. Big cities have been the most affected by air pollution because of presence of large number vehicles. The air in the metropolitan cities of Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai is so much polluted that many people suffer from diseases like asthma, cancer, eye burning, skin rashes, etc. Another major cause of air pollution is the burning of wood and coal in household for cooking. The LPG gas is available in cities and towns. In rural areas, wood, coal and kerosene are the only source to make fire and cook food. The rural hearths are therefore another cause of air pollution. The problem is worsened with the fact that trees are being cut to get fire Get more content on HelpWriting.net

It does not have any borders each member of our planet is affected by its devastating effects. Air pollution is the main factor contributing to general environmental problems. It is the emission of particulates, harmful materials, and biological molecules in the Earth's atmosphere and is caused by both human and natural factors. The effects of air pollution are shocking. It causes numerous diseases in human organisms, animals, natural crops, ruins the balance of the environmental system, and even causes deaths. Air pollution is the largest environmental pollution risk factor. According to the research of World Health Organization, ...show more content... The negative effect on human health also affects the central nervous system. The studies confirmed that an early exposure of children to the higher levels of air pollution have the same negative effects on the central nervous system as autism spectrum disorder and schizophrenia. Low and middle income countries in the South East Asia and Western Pacific Regions have the highest mortality rate due to air contamination problems. Specifically in this region, World Health Organization attributes approximately 3.3 million deaths to indoor and 2.6 million deaths to outdoor air pollution annually. "The most polluted country is India. It has the highest mortality rate due to air pollution. Most deaths in India are caused by asthma. Another seriously affected country is China." The report of World Health Organization states that air pollution killed more than 500,000 people in China in 2014. The calculations performed by the European Commission show that polluted air reduces the life expectancy in EU by more than nine months. The worst situation is in Benelux and Italy. The research of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health revealed that even a small exposure to the polluted air during pregnancy results in pregnancy complications. And long term health problems of the future children. The fetus is extremely sensitive to environmental factors. • 20. Essay On Environmental Pollution The environmental issue I choose is pollution. There is different types of pollution. There is water pollution, air pollution, soil pollution, thermal pollution, radioactive pollution, noise pollution, and light pollution. Every type of pollution is bad and it is causing health issues and even worst, deaths. Pollution is A very serious subject that is harmful to people and the environment. It is killing A lot of people. 4.6 million people die each year from pollution. Each year 1.2 trillion gallons of untreated sewage, stormwater, and industrial waste are dumped into US water.Pollution is one of the most biggest global killers affecting over 100 million people. Over 1 million seabirds and 100,000 sea mammals are killed by pollution every year. Approximately 40% of lakes in America are too polluted for fishing, aquatic life, or swimming. Pollution occurs when pollutants contaminate the natural surroundings. Pollution disturbs our ecosystem. Air Pollution is the most dangerous forms of pollution. It occurs due to many of reasons, excessive burning of fuel, cooking, driving and other types of activities that are similar. They release A huge amount of chemical substances in the air everyday; these pollute the air. Also smoke from chimneys, factories, vehicles or burning basically occurs due to coal burning. Air pollution is breaking down our ozone layer. There is different types of pollution but environmental pollution has been around for centuries and it is affecting the environment. People should care about this topic because pollution is a serious problem and it causes many deaths and illnesses. The worst types of pollution are air pollution and water pollution, they don't only harm our environment but also our health. It's really scary to think about because around 15,000 people in the world each day die because of water pollution and 2.4 million people in the world die each year because of air pollution. So this is a big environmental issue. The causes of water pollution is water and sewage waste. World population is increasing each year. This is causing huge environmental and health damage. Most water pollution doesn't begin in the water it starts with what stuff filters and enters through the water. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
